Sudan Black-B staining method( Special staining method)
Sudan Black B is a lipophilic dye that binds irreversibly to an undefined granule component in granulocytes, eosinophils and some monocytes.
It cannot be extracted from the stained granules by organic dye solvents and gives comparable information.
Sudan Black B is fat soluble dye, dye will accumulate the fat globules within the cells.it is slightly basic dye & therefore will combine with acidic compartments of the compound lipids. Therefore, phospholipid also is stained.
