Trail finished I believe 2-7 in 1990 after a heartbreaking year in 89 in which they were 5-4 with all losses very close.Could/Should have been playoffs for Trail.Oak Forest finished 9-2 this year making it to round 2 of the state playoffs as they did the year before same record!!! If I'm not mistaken they beat up Chicago Harper in round 1 then lost a close rematch with Bremen in round 2.89 In a surprisingly close game Bengals beat Chicago Near North before losing a tough round 2 game to a very good fellow Sica school Richards Bulldogs.I was there.They were in my conference

You brought tears to my eyes.I played in the Sica for Reavis.Before that went to all Reavis games & when Reavis wasn't playing would go watch teams such as Oak Forest & Bloom Trail.I am a lifelong Illini 8/Sica fan.This was before the stupid 2 schools 1 sports program deal with Bloom & Bloom Trail.It was back when the area was nice and Bloom Trail could play night football.Thank You so much for posting this.Thank You so much!!!
