The problem is we are living in the day of great apostacy in these last days.

The preaching of the True Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto Salvation. That is the True Power of preaching. Under the persecution of the Roman Empire and during the Protestant Reformation the True Church flourished and multiplied. Today the false Church hears the false gospel and there is no power in that preaching because Christ does not speak to this modern day church.

I'm glad we live in a free country, in which we have the ability to change the channel.

I'm not sure this was the best person to speak to this issue. He certainly seems highly progressive, to say the least. I'm curious why he thinks a dagger would somehow slip irretrievably into a fit man's stomach. Does he think it magically turned sideways? That's really not what happens when you stab someone in the stomach, particularly if that stomach is toned.
