This pedal is not just a pitch shifter with allot of functionality, as commented on the show. And its not a glorified POG either. I don't have it yet but from other videos we learn that first of all: its polyphonic. Then you can do FM with it! And turn your guitar tone into a synth and explore timbral possibilities and ......then you can do Ringmodulation... but I haven't found a video that showcases it. RTFM before doing mindless video presentations please.

You're using spst style switch. It doesn't work well. Use spdt or dpdt switch which stays on at resting and truns off when pressed. Boss designs their pedal controls this way so people buy their own footswitches which can change polarity. By the way everything should be momentary, latching type switches don't work either.

The only thing I don’t know is it doesn’t seem to have the sound the SYB-5 Bass Synth has. I wish it did. If it does then I will buy it.

What pedal do you need for tap tempo?

Just happened to come across this video on the Supernatural Reverb. You mentioned how much you like Digitech gear. Have you had the chance to check out the Digitech Time Bender Musical Delay? It's flippin' incredible imho. It has SO much packed into it. Takes just a little time getting used to it, but well worth it. Does everything from regular echo to harmonized, reverse, rhythm patterns etc etc. Also can function as a looper. If you come across one I'd suggest you to try it. Out of production now, I got mine for $120Cdn

Danelectro accidentally made a really good flanger to use with synths, especially if you wire it in as a send effect on a mixer so you can maintain your original tone infront of it. I bought mine used to pair up with a Behringer WASP Deluxe re-issue which it's self has a crazy filter and when you add crazy to the crazy, it starts to make a lot more sense if you're going for fat, wide, thick, evolving, psychadelic wall of sound type stuff.

I just got a used Deucetone. 😀

Well, Miku CAN be used commercially, considering that there are many artists selling Miku songs. Maybe the restriction applies just to this pedal, idk.

You can use an A/B box to switch between the expression pedal and tap-tempo switch.

Thank you so much for posting this video. I have been trying to do something similar but sending both a wet and dry signal to one amp. I’m struggling to get the guitar signal back together to go into the amp. Trying to let the SY200 do a drone / hold a note while I play over the top of it. But haven’t quite cracked the code, but this is a step in the right direction.

The PS3 really shines when it’s paired with a reverb pedal. I’ve got it running into the Big Sky and have gone on some big adventures

can you use a 3.5 midi to standard midi adaptor to send midi to external synth modules?

There are multiple ways to split your signal. A,B switcher. Multifx with fx loop. I notice you have two outputs on your delay?

This is the closest thing I can find related to running this pedal in a stereo/wet-dry-wet rig. I wish the SY-200 had stereo I/O. I'd probably have purchased it already if that were the case.

Good demo of some features I didn't know about. The expression pedal is very useful and on some settings it does control the tempo of the effect, so the dual footswitch for tap tempo is less necessary in that case.

One thing that interests me on this is your choices of delay. I don’t have either of these delay pedals. Do they sound vastly different - most people seem to talk about the timeline being the only one worth buying. If you could do a quick video possibly talking about these two choices you’ve made here I could probably get both and they would still be cheaper than timeline or the new Boss Analogue 101. Thank you incredibly use video I’ve downloaded to rewatch. I’ve just bought this pedal and am using send and return as effects loop - that way the synth isn’t having to deal with distorted signal to make tones but i can add distortion to what ever level of dry signal in the mix I like.

Can you use the SY200 onboard pitch-shifter to simulate base? Like a dry signal with no synth effect but just the pitch-shifter function active?

you should route your vocal tracks through the synth
