While SCUBA Diving Isla Socorro a Pod of friendly Dolphins dropped in to say hello. It was an amazing experience. The trip was on a liveaboard with Nautilus Dive Adventures on the Explorer.

Diving with Grey Seals

These Grey Seals were hanging out at the Dry Salvages in Rockport, MA. The Dry Salvages are about 2 miles off the coast. It was a beautiful day out on the boat with Cape Ann Divers. The charter was broked by Enfield SCUBA out of Enfield, CT. Great whites have been seen here in recent months, but nine were seen on this dive. Grey Seals are a major food source for Great White Sharks in New England.

Bert, I've been on a watching binge of your videos. They are so well worth viewing on a big screen! Have you ever been to Sachuest Point in Middletown, RI? In the winter there are huge flocks of all kinds of coastal ducks like surf scoters, white-winged scoters, black scoters, etc.. I was there one January and thought, "I wonder what this all would look like from a drone".

Amazing! Love diving Ft Wetherill
Bert, I had one of these swim back at me once and knock me in the chest at Fort Wetherill. Scared the crap out of me too. I was solo diving and did,'t see it under me... It got startled and took off from under me flipped back and head bumped me in the chest. It was a big one!

Generally a lobster that size is quite old in age, and not very good for eating due to the fact that their meat is quite tough. That is most likely why they did not try to catch it.
