Insights from the CAPA community survey
The CAPA community brings together individuals and organizations from coast to coast, united by a shared connection to arthritis. As a community-driven organization, we believe in the power of listening. That’s why we actively seek input from people living with arthritis-or those impacted by it-to shape our work and ensure their voices guide our strategic plan. Listen to this short video to hear about the results of the community survey in 2024, and how we're doing as an organization.

You've been emotionally blackmailed by activists. Why would anyone take your silly ideas about medicine seriously? I have RA and after my second Pfizer shot my arthritis has advance to areas that have never been an issue before. Ironically, my inflammation markers are in the normal range and my rheumatologist claims that it is now osteoarthritis that is the issue. If I had it to do over, I would have never taken the jab. It’s all about quality of life and at this point, it’s not good.

10 days after my 2nd vaccine injection I had a 2-3 month horrible arthritis flare and could barely get out of bed. I had to take 3 weeks of steroids to stop my flare. Prior to that, I was in clinical RA flare for 2 years. My brother does not have RA, don’t know if he has the BLA-27 gene. He had horrible tendonitis all over his body for 9 weeks now after 1st injection. He was taking vitamins for immune etc since COVID started. His dr gave him a B12 shot 2 weeks ago and that is helping him, he’s getting a 2nd B12 this week.

10:Days after my second Moderna vaccine injection I had a 2 to 3 month horrible arthritis flare that left me bedbound some days and he ended up having to take three weeks of steroids to stop the the arthritis flare. Ugh was brutal!!! I won’t be getting the booster

I got the Moderna booster and similar: within about 9 days: inflammation in my lumbar spine, SI joints and on my sacrum. Nerve pain wrapping around my left hip. Muscle spasms, difficulty standing fully upright. I immediately went and got vitamin injections. The traumeel helped take down my nerve pain from a 7 to a 2 or 3 /10. Double magnesium and taurine. And B combination and L-carnitine. Those helped a lot. I'm taking BCQ, vitamin A and D.
