Just to micro-analyze, what makes this version near perfect. Full-throated lead vocal. True Irish look and delivery. Precise, thumping and driving bass. Precise, driving percussion. What makes this version different is the use of violin. Perfect technique plus the views of the violinist's face: her often smiling then closed mouth. very winsome, showing her enjoyment of the action. The female vocal and mandolin was great. Maybe a few too many hair flips, but , hey 9 out of 10 ain't bad!
