In this video I fight Birkin's first form as well as fight my own fatigue. I cut this video a little short because after I defeat Birkin, I make it back to the box and then fall asleep for 20 minutes. As I said, I was really tired XD.

There are 2 points in this video where I mute the audio. Once about 30 seconds in and the other about 5 minutes in. I apologize for this. I got interrupted and didn't think to mute my mic. Aside from that I spend this whole video dealing with Mr. X and collecting the last medallion.

Map 12 Ultraviolence Max Kills and Secrets Pistol Start Source Port: GZDoom This level is pretty easy. The teleporter trap to the supercharge can kill you if you are not ready for it. Other than that, there is plenty of ammo to get through this level without much of a hassle. To be honest this level is pretty boring.

I agree with one other comment, it feels like peak passion was somewhere around 2005, then things slowly started to get shittier, totally dropping off by 2010's. Nowadays gaming is a joke.

Ok, the missiles I understand, they're Class IX Cannonballs. But the mines look to be Drone mines, the simplest kind... Also you could press X and reverse, shoot the mines and try to survive that way.
To be honest I didn't see the mines until I went back to the recording to see what killed me. I just added the "Oh Sh!T for comedic effect. Same thing for the missiles XD
The explosion of the mines indicated they weren’t drone mines, but some of top ones as well
@@X_mezo_X Don't know which though, while after pausing into the frame I noticed that football shaped explosion instead of the flash of the drone it was still white. The Ripper mine which was the strongest in the game was a red explosion if memory serves.
@@ZetoBlackproject it was indeed the ripper mine that had that explosion effect,starting white first but turning red afterwards.

5 :02- first lost souls on Doom 2.
And chaingunners. They are dangerous.
They are very dangerous in traps. Luckily Doom 2 does not use too many traps involving Chaingunners. They don't become a major issue until Final Doom. However, they can still kill you in about 2 seconds even in Doom 2.
Yes. And mancubus. They are dangerous also. Like a Imps in traps. There is a chaingunners traps in level The pit. Level The pit is nasty.
Nasty level with imps. And lost souls. Hell knight.

I tried uploading a video of e5m2 with the buckethead soundtrack, but it gave me a copyright issue... any suggestions so I can try again? I've seen many videos with the soundtrack but not sure why i can't do the same.
What kind of issue? All of my Sigil videos are copyright claimed, but because I am not monetized, it doesn't affect me in any way. As long as you don't monetize the videos then you should still be able to upload the video. Just to be safe though I put the name of the song in the description which for E5M2 is 13th Floor .

my most stupid death was before starting mission 3, when some Navy ships destroyed a fellow Freeport 7 survivor. You can actually shoot and attack them and get a unique turret if you manage to survive. They only have their missiles and mines, so all you have to do after shooting them once is avoiding their missiles until they don't have any left, then you can freely kill them. But I stoped my cruise engine a bit too early and died to their last missile. xD And sadly, you only have one shot at this, since they don't respawn. Another very stupid death from me was in Dublin, when I was out exploring. I exploded to the mines there. I had no problem with those near the BMM base, but somehow those around the Molly base feels more dangerous. I exploded to those while searching for wrecks to salvage. That's so stupid... I mean, during the story mode I was able to explore all the way to omicron theta without dying (you can actually go anywhere after you've reached leeds), surviving really tough npcs, even the omega-41 neutron star, and I die to those stupid dublin mines....

I have played this map several times over and I still get lost in it occasionally. Infact, I did accouple times during my practice run.

Is there a way to just bypass this level? My ship is flying like there's is a dead elephant on it's back. I destroy 2 of the generators but can't even find the third one with the ship fly (Or not) the way it is.
Not that I know of. The best thing to do is to use the trench on the outer edge of the layer as cover until you find the last generator. Don't fly out into the open.
I manged it finally. I have no idea why this Anubis class fighter was handling so badly, it was just moving really slowly and wouldn't turn, crashing into the sides all the time. I had problem with Mission 8 as well 9 (The race) even though I lost the first couple, but then won three races in a row and it still kept saying I lost. I had to use a cheat to bypass that level altogether.
"This is gonna be annoying because I didnt kill anybody in here earlier" Little did I know just how salty that room was gonna make me the next hour

I don't think it has a name. In the audio files it is just named mix_s002xe, but it has the dialogue with it as well.

Unfortunately this is where game even stopped trying. More pity to this, because even what remained shows tremendous wasted potential. I was baffled by nomads seemingly not even trying to shoot me down through this mission, and interior background texture of Dyson Sphere copypasted (wonder if it were licenced?) from Babylon 5's hydroponic garden was like "whaaaaaat???"
Hmmm. Thats interesting, I've never seen Babylon 5 but thats good to know. And yeah.... thats kind of why I rushed through this mission because I don't really enjoy it and I just wanted to be done. The whole activating the hypergates sucks in all the nomad ships, but not our ships because...... reasons........ made no sense to me. Its a shame because if you look at their concept art they have drawings of fully grown nomads actually looked like as well as things like nomad cities on nomad planets that you were meant to dock on. Unfortunately, Microsoft needed them to wrap up production quickly and this is what they came up with.
It looks more like the Dyson shell had holes punched through the structure over the ages by asteroids & comets. When you look at these areas it looks like the green background of the surrounding Edge Nebula. This makes sense because the Dom'Kavash have been absent from the Sirius Sector for many millennia and because no one was around to maintain the structure damage would begin to accumulate over time.
@@komodo380 To me it looks like the inside has some sort of atmosphere, the holes are lakes. But it also looks like the texture is something you'd take off Google Maps. Probably they felt rushed and came up with this, since all the other skyboxes in the game are pretty well detailed

Nomad station (station?) was hella impressive. Pity they did not work on it some more, especially internal parts, could be much more interesting than just fly in fly out and hope not to melt from radiation.
Yeah, they did good on making it look very alien. To me though it still looks like a giant cookie. Thats not really a bad thing, It's just interesting.

They did try at one point to make it bigger. There's an old beta version of FL that includes an extended interior section of the lair. Disappointingly it's just a long winding tunnel with various obstacles and nomad turrets.
@@striker4034 Yeah I always liked it and fancied playing it again. I'm sure there used to be a mod that gave extra ships like the Millennium Falcon, The Enterprise, Doctors Who's Tardis.
