I tried it one time and never went back 🥹 my logic is that water is the best for hydration, so on damp skin i’ll put oil to lock it in then lotion. It also feels way better than putting lotion first in my opinion especially if you don’t like the oily residue. Hope that explains 🤍

Yes for sure but I think it does depend on the lotion. Do a test and if you apply lotion on damp skin and find your skin is still dry later then you’d probs need to be applying oil on top or use a thicker lotion or apply oil before if you like that method. So just try and see what works for you 🤍
