this game is definently one that should be alpha. I personally thought this game was very balanced until a review for phighting recently. They devs have done a huge effort to fixing it, which is awesome, but theres still major problems with some characters. Also they should just multiply the ult by 1.25 for comp servers.

as a phighter, who grinded as a lvl 100 rocket, lost my account, grinded lvl 100 *again* as a mobile rocket, amd am currently on lvl 196 in a pc sword main, yeah this vid pretty legit my newbie days weren't as unfortunate, but i would come up and see a lvl 300 every now and then that is just a free w for which team they're on, so the matchmaking and pro servers are pretty valid bux, only thing ive ever done with it is buy a few skins, i think i am on 815k, and have barely anything to do with it, so extremely valid since this is written post shuri and boombox rework, there is still a bit going on. shuri is extremely op from the matches i have gotten (might be a skill issue on my part, but rusty with it) acting as a sort of melee with the shotgun like spread, the invis is pretty funny but still a free escape route. skate hasn't gotten better from what i remember, nothing really changed with them. and boombox is actually pretty decent. now there are a few metas now, since i can barely play when the enemy ranged is hitting all their shots, though i still have a ton to go through, and some opinions here might change as the games go on. shuri and rocket is from my experience and others comments in-game, are dominating the tanks, since both have some pretty ridiculous mobility, rocket has literal momentum from q and m1, and shuri is shuri. boombox got a neat update, bit complicated now but pretty fun. nothing new happened to escort, but boomball did get added in oublic servers. i also really dont think the 66% update was necessary, as when i came back to phighting after a month (our internet provider decided to cease to exist since dexember 17, and for some odd reason has a schedule on when to turn on and off, consistentky turning off at around 9:00, the others with different internet providers don't have this issue) i got a bit confused qs to why shuriken had 150 hp while watching a phigting vid. bio is still pretty op but like skates situation they're pretty tough to master with a neat payoff, just sucks when bio gets 20/2/18 or some awful mvp stat. something i think is worth noting here is that besides decoy deploy, i never used other phighters, so i have barely any info about them. the maps are fine, but rip old ntw, and make telamon have some sort of life/whimsy. it has like three main colors and has just an awful atmosphere, not to mention the spawn camp problem (still don't know how open servers have morals when it comes to spawn camping) and the lack of cover (hyperlasers enjoy this, the 14 others don't). the map pool and rotation also kinda sucks when you have to wait like 2 hours for a map you like to show up, but at least they removed the pop-up every time you join the game. as i said, i did painfully grind to lvl 100 as a rocket main, sadly every told about mobile phighters are true. there isn't much to say about it, heck, even the cam movement feels off on mobile, and the x and f buttons just feel really out of place. the controls are also a bit bad since i most of the time put my left thumb away from chat, and clicking chat mid-phight is a death sentence, biografts are also a pain on mobile, melee in general actually, both facing and using them feel weird. i also somewhat agree with the gameplay loop, extremely repetitive and non beginner-friendly. something funny is that after being in a server for a while, you feel a bit demotivated, winning or losing. the phrenzys and the phestivals are valid, really, nothing much to say about them, and the first phrenzy i experienced (decoy deploy) had really weird issues regarding the fact that phighting multiples of the same wasn't intended, as ban ham and katana rounds could either give you insane amounts of points, or none at all. thanks for reading ig, took 45 ish minutes to type this out after watching the vid.
