I got it done in a local stickering store near my place. I guess any sticker store would do it.

It's a wireless mic with receiver that I use. It's Hollyland Lark M1. There's a latest model now called Hollyland Lark M2 with a magnetic mount which is easier as mentioned in the video....

The DEF consumption should be somewhere between 8-10 litres for 10k kms but it varies.... Both the TD vehicles I drove were top ends and had 19 inchers on them and were very comfortable thr' potholes and flyover expansion joints. Nothing felt inside the cabin apart from a feeble thud noise. The 18 inchers might be a bit more comfortable but shouldn't be that much of a difference is what I feel! Again, I've not driven it. Just an opinion....

It depends on the usage and complaints that you have. I do weekend rides only and I do not go on long rides. So, lesser kms clocked on my ODO and hence, got replacement of my rear brake pads only during my second service for example. However, you can consider an average service cost of 15k per year unless you have any major complaints. Watch my first and second service videos if interested. On road price depends on the state in which you are buying the car. NVH lesser compared to the earlier version of the same vehicle. If you compare it with Marutis and Hyundais, it is more but tolerable for me. Not irritating from my perspective

NO... not much vibration. Everything mostly stock on my bike. Heating Yes.... But only in city rides and not as intolerable as litre class sports bikes. This is the condition in Bangalore. If you stay in a hotter place, should differ.

If you are fine with the seating position, the maneuverability, the feel of weight that it offers, then yes go for it. Go for a long test ride if you have not done that already and then decide. Ofcrs, the ground clearance would be a problem if you are riding in India.

Just got the first 1000 kms service done. But as you might already know, nothing much is done in this service and hence, everything went smooth. But the negative reviews regarding the Tata service experience are true to a great extent. Some might exaggerate a bit due to the anger in them but they would have definitely faced the situation. It is improving and it will improve further is what I'm hoping but never expect it to be at par with the Marutis and Hyundais.... We were allowed to do a PDI as soon as the vehicle was available. They instantly agreed for the PDI as soon as I asked for it. The delivery experience was very good. The vehicle had a minor scratch on a plastic part near the ORVM which I pointed out during the PDI and it was replaced before delivery. No problems here. BUT, there will be minor scratches and/or dinks in the paint job and that is normal in a TATA. Their paint job is terrible. I knew this beforehand and we were ready to live with it.

I would say, bad service or delivery issues are trivial and forgettable when compared to safety of our lives! So, Tiago should be a right choice in my opinion. By the way, I also had a similar dilemma in choosing between Spresso and Tiago and in the end, I chose Tiago ZXA+.

You could have taken Ignis zeta at that same cost instead. It has high seating, good visibility and a smooth, reliable, efficient engine that is a true gem. The less we talk of the poor QC and after sale support of TATA, the better. So, I say you erred in buying this car for your wife.

Sorry not sure! I tried a quick search now and I dint find any documentation regarding this. Best to inquire with the dealer.... Better to avoid e20 if it is not complaint.

I'm 5.11. And I'm very comfortable in all conditions. The only discomfort that I have is around the 200kms mark riding at a stretch on highways. I do not do longer rides however. Only weekend rides. Planning for a handlebar raiser which might solve my issue. For you, shouldn't be a problem. There are many shorter riders riding the tigers and himalayans in city. You should get around it post some experience. But YES.... it is different for everybody. I would suggest to request for a longer test ride (if you haven't done so already) and then check if you are comparatively more comfy than before and if so, your exp. is bound to get better once you buy it!

If you are not hefty and ride alone, then it won't be a problem in most conditions. I weigh around 90kg and in Bangalore City, MOST of the speed bumps and potholes are not a problem. Rarely, some odd speed breakers do scrape the underbelly but very rare. You need to get a sump guard for sure for any bike that you plan. With a pillion though, you are bound to scrape almost all speed bumps....

That was exactly the bike I contemplated with during my purchase but that was 2 years ago when it looked much much cooler in matt grey and twin exhausts.... I don't like the current paint scheme in comparison.

Will do.... But the Tata experience, though well known, is improving a lot. Guess they are listening to customers. Ofcrs there is a comparable difference between the 2. Yet to get the first 1000 km service done in the Tiago. Will let you know as soon as it is done.

We were looking for some features and Tiago XZA+ ticked all the right boxes in a better budget. We did test drive the i10 nios and yes.... the smoothness, premium interiors and the hill hold can be considered as the major differences.

@@motravelerakshay I am unable to move away from Tiago because of 4 star safety and ride quality but worried about parts quality of Tata and service technician at service center to solve issues. Hyundai is good at service and parts quality, I suppose.

Definitely yes.... This would be a "Peace of mind" choice. I am ready to take up with Tata if need be and hence, I took my personal decision of going with Tiago. i10 is definitely a better choice.....

I had taken a long test ride of the 900 before making a decision on the 1200's purchase just to check if this suffices me as 900 is lower on budget. There are differences like the 900 feels heavier on the go when compared to the 1200 and ofcourse the riding dynamics of both these bikes are totally different!! Features wise there is not much of a difference as both are basic and 900 has 1 ride mode lesser.... The major difference is in the way they ride, the seating positions, the power delivery....

I've heard that some Triumph dealerships in some cities are not offering test rides for this particular bike due to it's sales numbers. It was easy for me to get a TR in Keerthi Triumph, Bangalore. Infact, they offered me a longer ride looking at my interest when I went into the showroom for like the 4th time. I had just asked for a 2nd test ride. So, if they see that you are a genuine buyer, they might offer....

Right now, i'm in no position to buy the speed twin, although I still expect them to give the test ride just to see how the bike differ from the 400x and overall help become a better rider. Now, even if I'm not their potential speed twin customer, am I expecting a lot here?
