Maybe trying moving those baked goods that arent selling to a different style shelf? Ive seen comments in discord about baked goods not selling on the medium shelves but i assumed that was resolved on latest update but maybe not

I haven't had a bugged issue with the pies but I did have my sourdough not sell for a bit. I dropped the price to the default price and they started selling again. maybe some of the baked goods are more sensitive to price?

Def dont want to decrease to only 4 storage spaces per item. I used to run that way and it was impossible to keep up with. The bulk ordering feels clunky but for me its been more efficient than 8x per truck, even if I have to help unpack from the truck, or unload the pallet myself. Its just a difference of getting 32-36 vs 8 items at a time. I keep having to close the store to restock if I dont keep the bulk orders coming.

It's currently in early access. When they say 'Available in the full version,' they mean it will be accessible once the game exits early access.

I would take the bakery items and fill the empty shelves in the bakery area until the other shelves are fixed so you don't lose your money.

It's possible to have employees pick up stock off the ground similar to how TCG card shop simulator does it.

You can stack the pallets up to 9 and use the pallet Jack to move them all at once instead of running back and forth

I dont think you need start a new game. I do think some of the new features such as the better employee and ordering systems will work better with lower game levels. These stores are just too big now (unloading the truck and even stocking - such a long walk to everything). I've resisted going larger than size 7 because I dont need more space. For efficiency, I found it was easier to start bulk ordering from a fully empty stockroom - I needed 8 of everything, so I double ordered each of my bulk orders. Items have kept to a fairly consistent restocking schedule with a few exceptions. I think because your stock room was a mishmash of things that needed to be restocked vs not its left you with more over-orders. Also totally agree there needs to be a way for the game to recognize items on the ground, or at a minimum on carts, with employees being able to use the carts. I feel like with the stock from pallet idea maybe we need different kinds of pallet shelves (upper and lower?). I also think we need more than 5 employees so... Also, i've been trying to take note of things that regularly don't sell as fast and/or much higher quantity per box - such as beers, energy drinks and bottles of soda, it takes so much longer to need to reorder those items.

More than happy to keep this series going. Personally gel more with this than Grocery Store Sim.

Binge watching, you took my setup/order idea from the previous video before I even commented. I notice you dont use your cart much (thinking having to retrieve and move all those boxes of mayo - I would have put them all on the cart just to run back n forth once). I also find its more useful to just unpack the pallet in the truck and I use my cart to grab 8 items at a time to help speed up the unloading/sometimes grab one of each item in my bulk and run it out to the sales floor directly for restocking. Also RE: change quantities in the bulk orders - I also have found some items just sell out faster than others, especially the boxed crackers and stuff that only comes 6-8 units per box. I just do traditional 8 count orders of those as they run out between my bulk reorders of an entire stockroom isle.

I created a ton of custom bulk orders based on items near each other in the storeroom (so for example I have 6 different grocery orders including a grocery order of all breakfast things since all breakfast things are on my same stockroom isle) so I can drop palates and quickly load up those shelves. I also often just open the pallet in the truck - I set 2 staff on full time unload truck and it frees up my time to more efficiently stock the store with the cart. I also set the orders to be 4x of everything rather than the full 8 so its rare I accidently over order.

If you open the pallet inside the truck they place the stock in your room

based on what ive seen so far the best way to do bulk orders is to order it and dont use the forklift just when truck pulls up walk over and click to unpack and then the employees will auto unload it from the truck for you.

No real need to start a new playthrough just to end up in the same place you currently are since there is nothing new that will help at the start, Until the Devs make it so employees can take items off of pallets there is no need to restart , From what I have seen, leaving the items on the pallets until you need it is the best so theres not items all over the floor. I think a mix of pallet orders and normal item ordering is best, if you get low enough of items, get a pallet of it, if you only need "some" order some and let employees unload truck as normal

This game is not very intuitive IMO. I also really dislike that window open in the middle of the screen when you are working. It blocks seeing everything going on. Thanks Austin, I think 😁

The best way to use bulk order is when you're fully out of stock in one of you storage lane. So that you best way of using it.

Don't forget to price up the new items. I'd vote for continuing the saved game you've got.

Also, I would leave the forklift parked outside in the corner so you don't have keep trying to drive outside every time a truck shows up. Get some practice by doing donuts outside in the parking lot.

In the server I see people stacking pallets in the storage room. If you create a pallet of each individual product and stack the pallets you won't have to order anything for awhile and you can pull the pallet whenever you need it.

How do you make the forklift turn. I can only go backwards and forward.

they need to adjust the pricing of things , especially the shelves, 500 is crazy, on your last day you made about 11$ after paying for shipping, going to take a lot of days to get to 500 for a second shelf, and if You take a loan out for 500 its 110$ a day to repay .. You dont profit 110 a day, maybe 110 a month

looks like a good start for a game, but definitely needs some work, and strange that things are locked out in a supposedly full release, seems like they wanted to get some money flowing before finishing it
