The Mandalorian - Main Theme - Trumpet Cover
Goes without saying the rendition is amazing, but whatever mic he's recording with is phenomenally top notch as well. Can I ask what's the recording equipment?!
Thank you very much. The mic I used is a Rode NT1-A - so not necessarily an ideal trumpet mic but still a very good overall one. It does the job enough until I can invest in something better suited to the instrument. What followed was a lot a trial and error getting the EQ/Reverb to the sound I had in my head! Another skill I’m trying to learn!
AMAZING🫶😳
beautiful phrasing, dynamics and sustain
Thank you!
Изумительная красота!! Спасибо Вам огромное!!
Спасибо Вам!
Bravo! Backing track available?
Great job! You're terrific!
Thank you!
I play trumpet, I NEED TO DO THIS FOR MY BSF, SHE LOVES THIS SONG
It’s a great tune. Do it!
Outstanding performance! A truly respectful and touching rendition to the original recording. Greetings from México.
Very kind. Thank you so much!
What’s your favourite Act 1 closing tune?

Thank you!
As someone who plays trumpet Imma work my way to try this💕
You should! It’s a lovely tune to play!
Great Job! Beautiful!
Thank you!
Prerecorded ?
No, I just filmed the take and then matched the mic audio best I could.
WOW!!
This song gives me the feels in ways i can't understand-
Can u post the link for the backing track?
Whats the key signature? It's cut off by the shorts format
Sorry about that! I wrote it with no key signature.
Yup, I’m stealing this.
Well played! Really enjoyed this great cover!
Thank you!
is this a harry james song? it sounds like it
I don’t know if Harry James recorded this tune, but this arrangement is one of Sam Jewison’s, the leader for this band. We were certainly aiming for that style though!
@@jacob_trumpet cool!
Respect
Amazing performance! You deserve way more views and subscribers, that was phenomenal
Very kind, thank you.
@@jacob_trumpet no problem, keep it up! Any chance you could do a cover of taxi driver's main theme?
@@theos78 ooo interesting shout. I’ll give it a look!
Can you do andor it's the best this was also very nice
I do actually have the basis of an arrangement for Andor. Need to get it finished!
Very nice!
Thank you!
Beautiful! The original performer would be proud of your sound. Thanks for posting this, one of my favorite movie scores ever....
Thank you!
Excellent - best rendition of Uan Rasey's brilliant performance I've heard!
Very kind. Thank you!
@@jacob_trumpet You're welcome. Jerry Goldsmith was a brilliant composer, and this theme is among his most memorable and haunting. You did more than justice to it.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why does this make me wanna watch LOTR again!?
Beautiful👏👏🔥
Thank you!
Congratulations from Brazil. Nice work.
Thank you!

Just found your arrangement! Love it! I love the mute at the end for the tagged theme and of course the fullness of the whole arrangement!

As a euphonium player this sounds great! Your tone is stunning!
Thank you, very kind!
Great tone -- really nice work!
Thank you!
wonderful... 😮
Me and my fruend who plays clarinet want to do a duet with this song. Do you think it would sound good or no?
Of course it would! If you do it, feel free to tag me. Would love to see what you do with it!
Awesome, muito bom!
Thank you!
Beautifully played!
Thank you!
GG Guy, I love it,
Sehr schön gespielt 👍 Welches Instrument bzw mit welchem Mundstück spielst du hier? Mfg

Maurice would be proud ❤
I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Uan Rasey a bit. He was very close friends with my trombone teacher, and was a regular at various music events around L.A. Uan was a very special, warm and intelligent man, and a stunning musical artist.
That’s very cool. I’ve been a long time admirer of Uan’s work and wished I could have got to meet him or heard him play live. It’s very special when players like that are so welcoming.
@@jacob_trumpet Uan, like my uncle suffered from the effects of Polio (this back decades ago was a big problem). He had to walk on crutches most of his life. When someone would enter a studio and see crutches leaning against the wall typically this meant that Uan was in the trumpets. Still Uan lived life to the fullest. He would help my teacher with his minor home construction projects. Uan liked doing stuff like that (like you say he was a welcoming and beautiful soul of a person). Uan was quite busy as a trumpet teacher. Many good players were his students. I got to sit in a lesson once and could see why Uan was really good. He stuck to basics of good brass playing and was insistent upon musicality all the time.
Awesome! That little number just happens to be my favorite 😢
It's hard to play the trumpet in the cold but you make it look easy!!
It is for me
