I mean I get that but it wasn't specifically described, there were a lot of other things going on.
It really doesn’t bother me. I like to see perspectives from many different angles and unless it’s written to be obviously offensive, I can respect differing points of view.

Loving this series! Since you liked Haunting of Velkwood, I think you might also like The Rust Maidens by the same author. It's also about weird stuff going on in a neighborhood with some really cool and unique body horror

I absolutely loved Diavola as well. I could not put it down. It’s the only full novel in the horror genre I’ve given 5 stars this year. The day of the door wasn’t for me though.
