First Summer Garden Tour! Part 1 Ft. Tomatoes!
I found that the peel rolly thing works better if you cut off the root end first.
One thing about the wheels is that I believe every other one is a locking wheel, which might be why you're having a problem with some wheels and not others. The little mechanism you pointed out is probably one of your locking wheels. If you match it up with a hole on the bottom that is marked for a locking wheel it should pop right in! Good luck.🌻
❤❤❤
These products have a flaw, as it’s injecting fert it’s also diluting the fert. So if you start off at say 10-10-10 it gradually tapers it down to 9-9-9, 8-8-8 etc etc as it flows. So you never get a consistent amount of fert.
⚠⚠i likeED this product it worked perfect EXCEPT, after about 3 months the clear case cracked and i had to return it (2 times). this happened twice, i had to return both of them. the unit wasn't exposed to the sun it was in a shaded area. so now i will have to look for an alternative method to spray my lawn.
I have this same product but I think it’s the 32 oz. I use a product called Neptunes harvest and sometimes fish emulsion. Neptunes harvest calls for 1/8 of a cup per gallon. Am I supposed to mix it in a gallon first and then pour it in? That seems like it’ll dilute even more doing it that way. Do you just pour the fish emulsion or similar product straight into the cap and just let the water run it’s course?
It mixes with the waterwhen it's injected. Your not supposed to dilute it when used like this.
try soaking the garlic cloves in warm water for at least 30 minutes and the peels come right off
Way too much time promoting a piece of Amazon Plastic Crap.
I see quite a bit of green ones...aren't you supposed to wait for them to ripen? You don't need to wait? I noticed when eating them fresh the green ones have more of a tomato taste..more yellow the sweeter and less tomatoey.
Any tips for cleaning this injector? I have Algae build-up and dish soap doesn’t seem to be cutting it.
Nice. I just bought one at a garage sale for $5 and wanted some info since I don't have instructions. Those mosquitoes! Hey, mix up some Thuricide ("BT" Bacillus thurengensis) from Home Depot and do the whole place. I mix 1 oz in 2 gallons with my backpack sprayer every week to 10 days and we have ZERO mosquitoes. I get 7 or 8 full yard and under deck treatments for $10 this way. I'm going to load the Chapin thing up with a stinky thick liquid natural fertilizer product (Dr Earth liquid lawn food) made from liquefied food wastes.... a similar consistency to fish emulsion. (I may get some fish and add some seaweed concentrate too). I'll spray it into a leaf gathering area for preparing a massive compost pile. The leaves are spread out over a 10' x 50' rectangle, about 8 inches to a foot deep. I'm going to water and stir it in several times with the fertilizer stinky mix to get a nice thoroughly moist, but not soggy amazing pile made. This will be interesting to see what the Chapin does. Thanx again.
Vac seal mason jars keeps long time
This video made me subscribe to Your channel. Thanks for explaining everything so clearly step by step!
Great video. I am going to order those peppercorns. Hugs❤️
Thank you! 😊 I hope you enjoy the peppercorns as much as I do! ❤
lol…it’s a good thing I’m a fast listener. You talk so fast.
Thanks for the feedback!
Mix in some of those red onions with the other onions to caramelize. They just add another depth of flavor
Great idea! I'll try that next time!
I'm new to your channel and Azure Standard. I've ordered from them a few times and love them. I like watching to see what others order and like. You gave me so many ideas. Thanks for posting.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching, and enjoy your Azure goodies!
This was super helpful - thanks for doing this
You're very welcome!!
In my opinion, you should get grass fed butter instead of organic. Organic just means that the cows eat organic corn and grains
I agree 100% ... I bought the Rumiano butter specifically because it's grass fed 😊 before that I only bought Kerrygold.
The Rumiano is organic grass-fed. Says it right on the packaging. It’s very good. I prefer it to Kerrygold.
Parsley is one of the best things for you!!! Its soup weather... l throw a handful in every one l make! Usually fresh chopped from my freezer but l do dried too. chilli, spaghetti, hotdishes, parsley buttered potatoes... you can power up EVERYTHING!!! Dont think you will regret the big bag!😆
You're absolutely right! Parsley is a great thing to have. I've definitely added parsley to every dish we've made since I bought that bag. 😂
The organic garlic powder may be from China. The non organic is from the USA.
Admittedly, I just purchased the organic option without checking where it was sourced. Thanks for sharing this information!
Just came across your video, thanks for the azure suggestions 👍
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching!
Thought this could help but if you change the lighting for your youtube video haul header you would get more views. The picture is too dark and will attract less ppl
That's fair and very helpful. I really appreciate your feedback! I went ahead and made the change. Thanks again!
Cream cheese " logs" I like to whip it in our blender ( start with lower speeds first) then I put in container in refrigerator. It stays soft/whipped. Much easier to spread!
Now that you mention it, it seems like the obvious solution, but it never crossed my mind to do that! Thanks for the great suggestion!
I love azure hauls.. my favorite part of you tube!!! Been with them for over 20 years💙
Azure hauls are great! Wow 20 years is impressive! I'm only a few months in, but I'm very happy with Azure so far! ☺️
08:49 I just know that smells soooo good right now!
Yes indeed! 😁 The whole house smelled delicious!
This is a great idea! Caramelized onions are so delicious and can go in so many things - great to have on hand
Thank you! It's super handy to be able to open a jar and have them ready to eat!
Wow! New sub here! I recently made a Chicken Shawarma on my page too and *your dish looks amazing!* Hope to stay connected! 😀
Yay! Thank you! I'll be sure to check out your channel and your shawarma video!! Cheers to staying connected 😁
I have not tried the Jovial pasta because I don't really like wheat pasta. I've pretty much given up on pasta. But I do like Einkorn flour for breads and things I make.
I agree - Einkorn flour has been great. As for pasta, I don't eat pasta dishes that often, but I haven't given up just yet on trying to find a good alternative that isn't made from lentils or rice, etc. Have you tried Palmini, edamame or black bean pasta? In addition to zoodles, I've enjoyed those pasta alternatives.
Try coconut powder milk
That's next on my list! Thank you!
Yes I am interested to see you preserve your white onions in the freezer , and how to pickle red onions. I just subbed. Hugs❤️
Yay! Thanks for the sub! I ordered more red and white onions from Azure, so as soon as they arrive I'll film it and post it!
Great information. Thanks for sharing.
You're most welcome! Thank you for watching!
Hello new friend. I am happy to connect with you. Hope you can join me as well. I am also in growing zone 7a Tennessee. Beautiful container garden! I am looking forward to more of your videos.
Thank you, friend! I just joined 🙂 It's always great to connect with a fellow gardener!
Nancy is good
Can you tell me more about the fire cider/tonic?
Sure! It's essentially a health drink made out of apple cider vinegar infused with a bunch of things like ginger, turmeric, pepper, etc. I mostly use a little bit added to water as a beverage or sometimes I make salad dressing out of it. It's good for your immunity, congestion, digestion and overall health!
🙋🏻♀️, if you like cheese stuffed jalapeños peppers, you can cut your pepper jack cheese into sticks and wrap them in spring roll wrapper and bread them to make stuffed peppers. The wrapper is great so the cheese doesn’t leak out. You can make a bunch, freeze and cook whatever you want. Great finger food for parties. PS: You can also do it with your mozzarella cheese.
That's an excellent idea! Thank you so much for the suggestion. It never occurred to me to do that. 😄
@@theoffbeatgardener8303: You can also make them in an air fryer or oven instead of deep frying.
Yes! Any excuse to use the air fryer lol. To be honest, I hardly ever deep fry anything. Thanks again for the info!
Straus has fantastic cultured products. I have used it as well as a starter culture for my own yogurt and sour cream.
Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a try!
I’d like to see you process and freeze your onions please
I processed these onions in a hurry so I didn't film it, but I'm planning on buying more onions which I promise to film and post. 😁
I been buying Straus cream topped milk for 10 years. I love that it comes in glass bottles.
I just want to comment to thank you for sharing your garden updates. I just love to watch them. Gardeners are my favorite people and There is always so many new things to learn from each other. I also love to garden and make gardening videos too. I just love to video my gardens growth. if you'd ever want to visit my garden I’d love to have you! Let’s learn more from each other as we grow!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and offer to visit your garden! I agree - gardeners are great and it's wonderful to learn from each other. I'll be sure to check out your videos! Happy gardening! 😊
I order a case of the Straus vanilla yogurt every month! It’s a staple in my diet with the Vanilla Almond Granola I also get from Azure! I’m enjoying the liquid hand dish washing detergent in lemon scent that I tried from them also.
All of that sounds amazing! Is the granola from the Azure brand or a different company? Thanks for the suggestions!
Thank you for posting your video! Gardening is a bit of a challenge for us, but we so enjoy it! We are all for anything that makes it easier!
Thank you for your comment! Gardening is wonderful and I'm glad you enjoy it! I'm definitely Team "Make Life Easier" when it comes to the garden. 😊 Especially if it spares me from getting eaten up by mosquitoes while I'm out there lol.
I love the Nancy brand of sour cream and yogurt from azure.
I'll add them to my list to try! Thank you for your suggestion!
I would like to see how you process your food.
Great! I have a video coming soon on how I processed the beets. Stay tuned! 😊
You are absolutely fabulous. Do you ever stock up on water? Can you possibly do some in store grocery shopping videos? I think it would be awesome if you could show how you do your full shopping trip
Thank you! That's very kind. I have a stash of bottled water, but don't actively stock up on it, especially since we just installed a water filter. I'd be happy to make some grocery shopping videos happen! Thanks for the suggestion!
Do ou know about how many feet you ran on this one line? The only thing worries me is the 1/2 pipe seems like it wouldn't last too long, maybe I got a cheap version. Just curious what the lifetime on this 1/2 would be? I've been a gardner for a long time and just started this drip irrigation and I keep asking myself why didnt iI do this a long time ago LOL
Lol! Irrigation is a game changer for sure. I don't know exactly how much I used because I didn't measure, but visually I used about half of the tubing, so around 250 feet (I assume). The one I bought had decent reviews and so far I haven't noticed any issues. 1/2 inch tubing seems to be pretty standard. I can't speak on the longevity of it because I've only had mine for a couple of months, but like I said, so far so good. And if I need to replace tubing at some point, then it is what it is. I'll just roll with it lol.
Cheese is white--if yellow coloring is added. Oh my--we have so much rhubarb in our garden--wish you could take some.
I wish I could take some of the rhubarb off your hands! And yes, you're absolutely correct about the cheese. I realized after posting the video that I never explained why I specifically wanted yellow/orange cheese - to add some color to my charcuterie board, that's all. 😁
Fire cider with a spigot is a great idea! One of my favorite items from Azure is the organic rolled oats. They make oats from the store taste like cardboard! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for your comment and suggestion! I went ahead and added some oats to my Azure cart!
Getting the spinner base was the best thing I’ve purchased for my greenstalk.
Same here. It makes things so much easier!
Good to know about the wheels on the bottom of the spinning base.
For sure. I hope it helps!
