I captured a yellow tiny queen ant once but it died because my garage was too hot during the summer, plus I don’t have anywhere quite enough to put them. I love watching these videos because it helps me learn and fix my mistakes for the future whenever I do actually intend to make a colony.

I think one great setup is the esthetic ants ant starter set with Messor barbarus. I especially love it cause it has free ants species and it's very cheap with top quality materials. Very fast delivery and great costumer service!

I like somewhere my ants can dig, so I've been making sand sandwich add-ons, flat ones and also round ones with a small jar upside down inside a larger jar with a hole drilled in. Your channel's great thanks! Must be amazing to have Australian ants on your doorstep :)

Tubs and tubes look great in my opinion

tubs and tube set up is my favourite as i like for the ants to forage for food and dispose of waste for an easy clean unless its bullants hahaha

Nature setup is the best

I really Like Natural setups / vivariums. But I tend to Go for 3d Nests when I dont Go for Natural, as they Are ferally cheap and I can move them in to a Natural setup pretty easely. Good luck to all who Are participating in the giveaway ❤

Where did you buy the tubs from - my favourite setup would be tube and tubs as you have said easier maintenance for beginner colonies

Depending on the species 3d printed are my favorite because of the cost, but whenever I have a shiny penny I like to go to Tarheelants. They have great expanding options.

i like the utisol 1 ant nest made by ants hq (a uk based brand) it is an all in one earthscape setup with a small outworld glued to a nest. it is a relatively good price for its size and i highly recommend it

I like wakooshi and dillant both great options i have both and they are great

I reckon the best setup is the WaKooshi gen 4 founding nest but you can never go wrong with a tubs and tubes set up

Personally I prefer 3d printed ant nests, since you can also expand them with different module.
