So Pretty! Thanks so much.
Couldn't find you on instagram
That's a good point! I changed my Instagram handle and forgot to adjust on other platforms :) It's now Helenkayeknitwear :)
Thank you very much. It's inspiring. I'll give it a try.
You're welcome!
Thank you! Your explanation of the tuck stitch is the clearest I've seen 👌🏻 I've made it on my machine ver easily
Sorry for my slow reply I didn't see this! If you've developed tucks since then I'd love to share on Instagram :)
Amazin work doll
You make clear, descriptive and visual videos. I love them. Please keep them coming!!
Where I can find the double bed inlay tutorial ? Thank you
Hey, i want to make this using more needles. Should I only leave needles on both side left n right and in centre i was thinking to take more needles. As you took 31 , i want to take 75 needles. But not getting how should i make it??
This is not a tuck stitch. It is a slip stitch. Slip stitch floats over the needle bar, tuck goes around the needle hook
It’s 100% a tuck stitch Sue.
Thank you for sharing your content with us! In watching your videos I have been struck by the few cheeky comments you have received - as opposed to the great majority of appreciative comments. I am at a loss to understand the negative stuff and conclude it is prompted by a sour disposition and the green monster. Thank you again. You drive your knitting machine like a boss.
Thank you for the great explanation. It is very helpful to visualize HOW a stitch works. Your voice is charming and your hands are gorgeous!
Your hands flapping about in front of the camera are very distracting.
That’s a shame because I need them to knit … but if people don’t like my free content I can stop doing it and keep it for those who pay ❤
You have very lovely hands and your manicure is flawless - wish my old working hands looked anywhere that good! Thank you for your content, this machine knitter appreciates it very much. 🇨🇦
@@helenkayeknitwearThat would be a shame!! You needn't take offence! It's true... watch the fingers or pay attention to the (free lesson : Thank you in passing)?? Big dilemma!! This is a problem that occurs in many tutorials, and it IS certainly distracting, not withstanding your willingness to...share. ❤
Amazing video! Thank you so much !!!
You're so welcome! 💖
Huh! Information OK, but so many hand and finger movements..., don't know what to watch / pay attention to! Dizzying!!
There are lots of hand movements working with machine knitting as I’m showing the manipulated version rather than the automatic one
Give us more videos. Would like to see faire Isle without using a punchcard. 😀
There’s plenty on my Patreon!
lol lol thanks, cannot afford it, yarn or patreon, give us the odd freebies, when you can lol@@helenkayeknitwear
@@Sewingtrue100 oooft I feel that 💖 I’m doing an MA and my Patreon 100% supports me and pays my rent so there’s no time for freebies at the moment!
Thats great, glad it supports your studies. Have my own machine knitting channel that I support, Im fairly skilled, so a patreon is not what I need. Besides the expense. Find stuff you can put on, build your channel, you could also earn earn money from advertisements besides the patreon. Show us where the knitting can go, museum work copies or the Oscars, and the type of machines you use. With something like the Oscars, people dont think it is possible to create a knitted gown, I dont see those types of challenges, or themes followed for the Met Gala. Bring it to the ordinary folk. They could be more likely to be patrons.@@helenkayeknitwear
@@Sewingtrue100 but she didnt ask for your advice
Do you have to press the tuck buttons down on the brother carriage prior to the red tuck rows? Thanks
No 💖 all instructions for tucking are at the start of the video followed by an explanation of what those functions do 💫
If i change the color, do i have to cut the last threads? i have no idea where can i leave the last one 🥲
Noooo never cut the yarn! I have a tutorial via Patreon on changing colour with 2-5 yarns and no cutting or tangles!
@@helenkayeknitwear ty !! I'll watch it asap 😂😂 your video is sooo helpful for me 😭 tysm !!🩵
Hermoso!!!! Gracias!!!!
Hermoso diseño!!!! Gracias Profe!!!!
Now that’s dirty lmao
😟
Slightly on topic, but is there a specific criteria you look for in tables? I’m likely going to go with a standing desk/workbench, but I thought I’d ask. IKEA desks/tables look promising, but I’m always concerned about weight distribution and don’t want the workspace to flip.
Tables are super important and I personally hated those skinny knit tables as they were too low and wobbly! This table is from IKEA ... can’t remember what it’s called but it’s adjustable 💖 I personally like a table deep enough that my yarns can sit on top of the table rather than the floor so I can keep an eye on everything and I like a heavyish table so it’s not moving about 💫
Thank you! That answers questions I spent an inordinate amount of time obsessing over 😂
@@Random_Identityhaha that’s ok it’s important stuff! If I have to buy a new chair I’m constantly measuring my self sat down to find minimum and maximum heights ahha
Comfort and long term health for the win!
This is a great idea, thank you! I don't see the color changing video, is it possible to add that link? Many Thanks
Hello Petra! The colour changing video isn’t on here unfortunately that’s on Patreon as this video was designed for there but it is still available if you’d like to sign up 💖 www.patreon.com/theeknitkid?
Thank you for joining! I hope you enjoy the other tutorials too 🌸💖
Please take the camera more closer on the area where selected needles are making loops thanks
Hello! I do on the extended version on Patreon! Thanks :)
❤ Nicely done! ❤ Please change your spongebar if you haven’t done so already. Your needles should be laying flat on the bed, not floating.
Thank you! And I only change something on the machine when performance is effected or issues arise 🌸
Can this be wider and longer? I love this method.
The tuck or the fabric?
Awesome🤓
Thanks 🤗
❤❤❤
♥️👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Супер!
Good, but too much talking
That’s because it’s a lesson. There’s a lot to learn in knitwear 🌸
@@helenkayeknitwear I agree, I really appreciate the in depth lesson <3
@@anaiskabore1117yey! Don’t worry I won’t be changing my teaching style ahahah I always felt that for knitters learning stitches there’s content that gets the job done but doesn’t explain anything so im here to talk talk talk 💖
Güzel anlatıyorsunuz..ama..Türkçe olmadıği için anlıyamıyorum🤔😔🙏🏽
@samimecelik2723 You can set Turkish in the translator, even with subtitles.
Merci d' expliquer ce joli point, je vais l'essayer pour des rideaux façon 'ancien temps' attachés en haut et en bas sur la fenêtre et tendus.
You’re welcome! That sounds interesting let me know how it goes 💖
Спасибо!! узоры интересные
Thanks for teaching it!
