I love this film. I've loved it for years. I loved it differently when I was younger and drunker than I love it now I'm older and sober. It makes me sadder now.
totally agree,i can remember every line in this movie. don't threaten me with a dead fish, haha.man delights not me; no, nor woman neither, nor woman neither.
Drinks liter fluid. "Liar, what's in your toolbox? You've got antifreeze'. "You bloody fool,.you should never mix your drinks The whole film is perfectly balanced and you see deeper layers each time you watch it. You can't just watch it once. It takes you on a journey with each run through. It starts out as a comedy but it's actually a tragic tale really.
Two of the best performances ever bar none. I’ve only seen this film a couple of times, and that was years go. 2.29 was waiting for Garth and Wayne to show up 😂
Sorry but the single best moment in the movie is Uncle Monty in full makeup, threatening burglary. I guess your title was specific, the best moments of the two lead characters.
And what do you do for fun. Stand at you rwindow, twitching your curtains, being bitter towards everyone on your street. Right barrel of laughs you mate.
1:05. Fuct up film fact. That's real lighter fluid Richard E. Grant is drinking. The container was originally full of water but director Bruce Robinson switched it for real lighter fluid and didn't tell the actor. Grant's reaction (and subsequent vomiting) is real. Which is exactly what Robinson wanted. Guerilla filmmaking at it's best. Lol. 😆
Does anyone remember a cut of Withnail and I where Danny has said how Law rather appeals to him and a spaced Withnail finds it hysterical... Marwood is fretting over the landlord's threats and Withnail laughs, "Give it to my solicitor" in reference to Danny? I think THAT was my favourite line but i havent seen it for twenty years! Mandela Effect???!!
"Two large gins, two pints of cider. Ice in the cider."
Crackin ' film !
MONTY YOU TERIBLE CUNT! and ‘ IM MAKING TIME!’ Are the best lines ever. Prove me wrong.
dinklage sent me here. Next, im off to watch the whole thing! I miss these British dark humor movies/shows!
I shall have you, even if it means burglary
Without doubt the Finest Film Available To Humanity 😂😎
No Camberwell Carrot? 😂😂😂
Not hard to se where the show BOTTOM had their inspiration from.
Shite.
'GET IN THE BACK OF THE VAN!!'...timeless.
Truly a masterpiece. Some of the greatest characters ever written , and like a fine wine it ages beautifully.
_"Look at Geoff Woad! He'd probably tell you what he was going to do to you, before he did it."_ Love that line.
they were so gay its unreal
Every line is memorable. Been busy monty? As a bee!
This video need to be 3 times as long (at least) to capture all it's best moments. The perfect movie :)

Top 10 films ever. Clever, when it doesn’t even realise it
Yes, one of these weeklong chemical benders.
My favorite film of all.. I will judge those that loathe this fabulous film. They have zero taste. The entire film is superb. ❤

George Harrison.

What the f is this film?!

This should just be the whole film.
Random clips, very poor editing..
Any reason why Monty is omitted entirely when he's probably the best character in the whole thing?
he's not funny to me, he's just way too creepy
Went to see the play in Birmingham, it was excellent
A true classic
Part 1? And in no particular order.
Sorry but the single best moment in the movie is Uncle Monty in full makeup, threatening burglary. I guess your title was specific, the best moments of the two lead characters.
the multi-doctor story that never was
The whole movie is the best bit, you plonker!
This is for the audience that dress up in full attire for Rocky Horror Picture Show tours and think they're cool doing so. Overrated film
And what do you do for fun. Stand at you rwindow, twitching your curtains, being bitter towards everyone on your street. Right barrel of laughs you mate.
How can you have a best moments medley and have no scenes with Monty in it. Along with Withnail he's one of the 2 best characters...
The f**ker will rue the day!
Just SO SO good!
I'm preparing myself to forgive you... How many times have I said that 😅
What's truly remarkable is that they ever found their way to the cottage and back.
We've gone on holiday by mistake has got to be one of the greatest lines in cinema history
Danny is my favourite character 😂😂
chin chin
Oh my boys my boys, we are at the end of an age, shat upon by the tories, shuttled up by labour, but here we are the last bastions of beauty,
Scrubbers!
A best moments would be the WHOLE movie!
A Johnny Depp comment brought me here.
"Don't threaten me with a dead fish!" Withnail is a whole vibe and I love him for it!
I've been to Uncle Monty's cottage. About 14 farmers gates and 2000 sheep to battle through, but it was worrh it.
I hope your fuel and wood situation wasn't too bad.

it was vinegar, not lighter fluid
@@user-mx5mp3tr7w "What f***er said that?" 😉😀
