I struggled with a profound, deep, intense feeling of loneliness at one time in my life. I tried everything to get out of it. I came to the conclusion that I had a phobia of being alone. I googled it and found that it was a real thing. I panicked when I was alone. I compensated with meditation and stillness. Eventually my best friend moved nearby and then we moved in together as roommates and it went well at first but one day we were getting frustrated with each other about a discussion we were having about how a web platform worked and suddenly he jumped up and started swinging and beat me really bad. He broke my nose in three places and gave me a concussion and I have recently had my second surgery to repair the damage to my nose. So he moved out and I’m alone again but this time is not as bad. I mean, it gets deathly quiet sometimes but I don’t have the same panic I had before. For about 4 months after the attack I dealt with PTSD symptoms from the beating. I had PTSD before the attack but afterwards it intensified and then subsided. So here I am again. I have 600 affirmations I recite every day and that helps a lot. I work at home and I pet my cats and watch RUclips sometimes all day and all night. That’s how I found you. You’re interesting to listen to. I’m not sure why. You just popped into my feed. You have a very deep, multifaceted personality. I like to hear your stories.

So you like cats. Back in the late 50s my Auntie Lil was "The Cat Lady of Boston". One of those eccentric people you read about. She had more than 100 cats. When I was little we'd go there and I thought it was absolutely the best. I loved animals and where we lived animals/pets weren't allowed so Auntie Lils was like Paradise. A good size two family house connected as one with just my Aunt and the cats. As I got older it became apparent that it was pretty crazy and smelly. The neighbors were not happy cat people. A decent Blue collar neighborhood in the Alston section of Boston. Auntie Lil was not only gorgeous but an executive with the John Hancock Insurance company at a time when women were Not Executives in any business let alone a prestigious giant ass insurance company. Yes one day the Police and an animal rescue group came a knocking, broke her heart and removed 85 cats while a number of the inmates escaped. They were all free to come and go anyway. RIP Auntie LIL you were a trip.
