Thank you, they are the stock DOT Tires…Dunlops I believe. I can take a look when I am home later. They definitely slide around a bit more compared to a Moto tire, but not as bad as I expected. I mostly notice the lack of traction and n braking, and the front end for cornering.

So much good stuff around Prescott! This was my ‘17 Husqvarna FX 450. I now have a ‘24 FE 501s. It’s nice to be able to ride from home and 50 state legal. ;)

@@GoFastDontCrash im moving out to Prescott this year or by June next year so im excited to get a dirtbike for some trail riding. I grew up in the woods riding back home in Washington state

He loves the KLR! It’s definitely not aggressive, but I had to ride it up a couple tech spots for him… It’s a Tank, low and slow, stable and comfy!

I appreciate the kind words. I have been mountain biking for about 8 years, but grew up on BMX and Moto. It’s hard to live in Prescott and not get into mountain biking. ;) . So much good stuff here and around AZ! I gotta get back down to Hawes again. Lots of new stuff since this video I hear.

So many bikes I should have never sold. ;) This one has been a good balance between aggression, comfort, and ease of getting out to ride. I don’t need to hit big jumps anymore, but can still carry some speed though some single track.

Thank you, it has been amazing! You won’t regret it. Getting ready to go scout some new roads in my elk hunt unit today with it. I was not planning on doing the ECU. But I am told it will resolve my only complaint about the bike, and that is cold weather starts. Temperatures below 50 deg get difficult to start. 30’ and 20’s… almost impossible.. :( And the bike has good power, but a little extra “snap” would be nice. ;) Thanks for watching. Rubber side down.

@@GoFastDontCrash yea I think you’d really like it. My buddy was a pro motocross guy, name is Michael Leib, and he has a 501 he let me hop on the other day. He said his track time with a 2023 501 with ECU is barely seconds off between his race bike. I’m like you, I wanted a straight up dirt bike that I could jump and hit up the track or single track trails with plates so I could ride straight from home. Way easier to convince the wife I’ll be back in a few hours vs 8 hours!! Stay safe and Ride hard brother!!

About 20 miles. Was super comfortable on the rode. I just got back from Colorado and did Ophir Pass, Imogene Pass, Hurricane Pass, and Red Mtn Pass. 150 miles in 2 days of street and high altitude back country riding. It does need a more comfortable seat. ;) More videos of that trip with my dad on the way…

Yeah rocky Ridge was not an easy climb.. I’m sure it would be more fun the other direction, but it was an enjoyable challenging climb. Full Sail was a blast with soooo many features! I hope all is well Robert. ;)
