@crunnko hi there, thanks for commenting, I left the foam inside, normally I would take a mould from items I've made, so it's clean on the inside, but as it was only done for a one off, there wasn't any point in doing that, like you say it doesn't weigh anything and for a replica it's fine 👍😉

@@TheGentlemansCode-i8r That's what I've seen on the internet, but the most important thing about whether it's expensive or not is if they actually send them. I've read of cases where people pay for the kit and don't send it, it's difficult to trust.

Hi there, thanks for the comment, the rears were mostly single skin, just needs a bit of welding where I think it was the boot floor that came lower in the arch at the back, the fronts needed more work, the fronts of the sills need cutting off and a bit further up, the seam that runs round the inner arch needs cutting and welding and some of the inner metal that sits underneath the headlights, hope this will help, if you need any further advice you can message me on the works page on Facebook 👍

Thanks for commenting! I agree a lot is down to how they've been looked after, I've seen some not to bad and others that are complete wrecks

I can't remember which ones I bought, it was a few years back, but if you search on eBay universal plastic arches they'll come up with all different sizes depending on what you need, I took a mould from them as I preferred fiberglass over plastic as they are easier to cut and modify

That would look great man! When I painted this car it looked awesome in white, I didn't really want to put the graphics on it, it looked so good, but it definitely needed them to finish it off. Many thanks for your comment 🤜🤛

Hi there, thanks for your comment 🙏 to be honest, I never noted how long it took as it wasn't a job and was done for myself, it was done very quickly to get ready for a show, but I was doing anything from 8 hours to 15 hour days for 2 months , so a lot of hours in the end 👍

Hi there, thanks for your comment 🙏 I agree who doesn't love a wide body car, especially from this era! It's all still the standard 206 GTi chassis, I used wheel /spacer adaptors to get the wider track on the car 👍

Hi thanks for the comment, it was all cleaned first, then anything that is silver was painted in an aluminium paint and anything that was black was prepped and painted satin black 👍

They are getting hard to find anywhere now I think. You should go for it! even with the 4 doors it'll look cool, can't say I've ever seen one done. And many thanks for the comment 🤜🤛
