Lamentations is a six movement piece for piano quintet. It follows the five stages of grief. Starting with the first movement, "Loss". It uses one "Leitmotif" throughout the six movements. This melodic idea represents loss and is developed as it progresses through the stages of grief. Each movement also has its own melodic material. This movement is the second one. This movement stays very stag...

Textural Variations for Piano and Orchestra
🙏🙏🙏❤️
Dude, this sounds fantastic!! It was a ton of fun to play, thanks for writing a killer timpani part, haha
Thanks! If you want I can write an even harder timpani part for you in the future.
Beautiful!
Very nice
Beautiful!
I find this piece extremely original and beautiful. Kudos for the Composer and the Choir!
Great job! What is that flute in the front row that curves around on itself?
The two flutes in the front are an alto flute, and the one that curves is a bass flute.
Tàngo on flute Little difficult. ❤🎉❤🎉MARVELOUS GOD
Absolutely love this piece.

You restore faith in music. I discovered your works today and immediately put them on the list of my favorite classics, next to Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Satie.
Thank you.
gorgeous... I love the way you build textures and music
i am one of those people who loves the smell of Petricor... it takes me back to my childhood, to where i grew up where it used to rain a lot and where there used to be a lot of vegetation. your music and evocation is really beautiful.
Thank you.
That instrument at the start makes it sound very Terraria like! Absolutely love the vibes, great work! :)
This is my new favorite of all your songs! Love it!!
The music is so beautiful
Another beautiful piece, Anson. As I listened to it my son came into the room surprised because he thought I was playing a video game.( I am not a gamer🥴) I told him this was done by one of my former students and he said it sounds really professional, like it could be in a video game. Well done, my friend, well done. ❤
Anson, this is intense! I love it and love hearing an Orchestra play it. This would be a fun piece to play ❤
Anson! This is incredible. I always try to pick my favorite, but with each piece I find another favorite.
Love this
Incredible!
Still like Beethoven? I took theory and got into a lot of classical, especially orchestral stuff. Beethoven is as goated as you said back in 2015.
I knew that time would eventually prove me right!
A haunting dreamscape
Another wonderful composition, my friend!!
Nice peaceful song, love the nature sounds
Love this one!
Oh Anson!!! How soothingly beautiful. I listened to this while sitting in Alaska, looking at the majestic mountains- perfect music for a perfect setting. I had to pause the music to know if the crickets in the background were live crickets here- or in the Nocturne. As usual your ability to think outside the box is evidence of your sacred gift to create music by adding details others may not. I anxiously await to hear more as you learn more this next school year. You are HIS favorite!!
Very cool. It's like hearing a film. Very fun and engaging.
This is so beautiful and full of a variety of emotions. Very well done Anson
Most interesting, not sure why i was recommended this but i'm glad i was
Such a fan of this, thanks for showing it to me!
