had to use these on wind turbine hub to rotor assembly. you have to set the torque in NM or FP based off hydraulic pressure. easy to fuck yourself up, also these guys using that plate to react off of is not the smartest idea

People calling that a torque multiplier haven't used it. It's simply a hydraulic tensioner. Hytorc, BOLT Tech and so on. They use adjustable pressure to tighten and / or remove bolts of various sizes.

Is this wrench torque limiting or is there an indicator on it to gauge the torque applied? I would think this is an imprortant measurement to know if the correct result is to be uptained.

I use to do those with my snap on 1/4 ratchet and adapters , would tighten to 1300 lb-ft then 45deg , easy as cake , would do 20 post a day

What do you call the torque system I saw on big diesel cylinder heads once, where a special nut is threaded onto the bolt and a hydraulic mechanism grabs that nut and stretches the bolt, allowing the cylinder head nut below to be snugged down?
