This video is the first out of a 2-3 videos from a trip I got home from yesterday, where I put the Hilux and Camper to the test.
We head into þórsmörk, and get some amazing northern lights.

Lately there has been a lot of things happening, and I'll try to record more of it moving forward! Today I recorded a short hike and an intro to my new camper. With that said, a proper introduction of the car, camper and setup will be uploaded shortly! This was also a little experiment of trying to record, edit and upload in one day. Which I did :D Filmed with Dji Pocket 3, photos with my Nikon Z8

In this video I'm doing a sunrise hike up the stratovolcano Mælifell up in the Icelandic highlands. I took a very spontaneous decision to stop at this volcano on my way home from another trip, spend the night and wake up at 05.00 in the morning, to do a hike in the sunrise.

This video is from a hike to an area called Stórurð, in eastern Iceland. I had heard about it, and seen some photos, but was blown away by the area. The pools themselves are cool, but the whole arena is amazing. There are towering mountain peaks all around, and a beautiful valley leads towards the sea. Last weekend I had some different plans with some different people, this video contains some of the things we did! With a good weather forecast and the highlands here in Iceland opening up, we decided to head out for the weekend. The main goal was to reach Mælifell, a mountain up in the black deserts of Iceland. As some of the roads opened up just the same day or the day before, there's always a lot of uncertainty around them, with mud and water being the biggest potential obstacles at this time of the year...

A bright green dragon tail across the sky! I was lucky enough to visit þórsmörk in the summer, but not late autumn! The camper looks so warm and cozy against the Northern Lights. Please keep up the great videos, I don't typically get to see what camping in Iceland is like during the winter.

Yeah, that whole area is surreal! I was really lucky with the sunset as well, as there were snowy clouds passing by on and off all day, but it opened up at the right time :)
Pretty damn good for first video! They only get better. You build from one to the next. Always room for improvement. Love the music and natural sounds. Thanks for showing a part of the world I have never seen.
Thank you very much! Very true about the progress. It's sometimes a hard pill to swallow, the fact that the best way to learn is to just do - not overthink and try and make it perfect the first time. So easy to end up not doing anything at all then instead (plus the fact that you of course can't do it 'perfect')
