Diving Raja Ampat - 2023
What a pleasure diving with the crew of the Ratu Laut - Howe was our cruise director and dive lead. Rama was my guide for the first trip. Danny at Delvin Homestay guided me around Kri.
My dive team on trip 1 through southern and central Raja Ampat were Argen, Tobias and Stephan. The other divers on the trip that made being on the boat so entertaining were, Ninia, Dan, Steve, Peter, Martin, Kristian, Susan and Carine.

Anacapa - Channel Island Sea Lions - Diving of Spectre Boat after Thanksgiving couldn't have been more cold and satisfying with these playful and hungry sea pups. Totally worth the freezing waters and numb hands, feet and face. Reminds me of why California scuba diving is so special.

Lots of bull sharks on the bottom 30m. This is the hand feeding tier 15 m. Mostly Grey and Lemons. The top tier is black and white tips 5 m. Yes, feeding sharks is controversial. We all love Prince but I have to give a shoutout to the bad azz drummer. Also, Prince sung live off stage but they wouldn’t let him sing live on stage. That’s why he’s crewing gum and has no microphone.
