I see you went with the Helsinki/Finland non-replica approach for Nessarose's jewelled shoes. In most versions of _Wicked,_ we know Nessa's shoes begin as Silver Shoes (like in L Frank Baum's book), and then when Elphaba enchants the shoes so Nessa can walk, they (at least) glow bright red, thus turning them into the Ruby Slippers (like the movie). But, in the first ever non-replica production of Wicked in 2010 in Helsinki, Finland, they were allowed to make some unique choices from the original Joe Mantello direction. Examples include Elphaba levitating via wires instead of a hydraulic lift, Dorothy making a proper onstage appearance, and, of course, Nessa's shoes beginning as red way before Elphaba enchants them.

there are a million incredible things to say about this beautiful piece of work---the transition to "so you see, it couldn't have been easy" to the shot of baby elphaba beginning to cry as she is taken away from her mother, being carried in such a way that all she can see is a room full of people all too scared to look at her...the look of remorse on the nursemaids face...the fact that the camera cuts away before we can see her mother's reaction to the baby and instead focuses on the disgust of her father....I got goosebumps.

This looks like a storyboard for the upcoming movie adaptation.

I will say Raoul and Carlotta are complete moods in this.
