Same issue here. I gave each spoke a turn with my tightening tool just incase and the noise is still there. I have a ticket with Super73. Hope they just send me a new hub motor

How did you get the torque upgrade that you mentioned?
On the Super73 app, under dashboard/vehicle you’ll see update available. You need to make sure the bike is on and the Update can start doesn’t take more than 10-15 mins
I was looking at this but it's just not worth it. You've got the grizzly, onyx cty2, c3storm and Rev1 that are just around this price and better? Ended up getting a CTY2 that's arriving net week. $350 off right now makes it a no-brainer comparison. The Super 73 is a great platform and it's a nice flashy bike. Price is way too much. You don't want to have to spend another 3k to get the speeds and torque you're getting these other bikes.
The CTY2 is an amazing bike! I agree with you that the super73 bike is expensive and they are other options out
I LOVE my Super 73! I'm a newer rider, bought it at the end of summer last year. I haven't 'unlocked' mine yet but now i need 'more'.....lol. i top out at 22-23mph...you were going much faster. How much faster is it when it's unlocked? Is there more power? I suppose i could research it myself, but I would rather hear the answers from another rider.
When it’s unlocked you can get about 52km/h with the update! Definitely more power

Great video. Thanks for the information. Do you have experience with rain? Have you ever had problems with the electrical system. Is it possible to store the bike outside when it rains heavily. Have you had problems with it or never tried it?
Glad you enjoyed it! When it comes to the rain I personally would not recommend taking it out, I have seen some people who have taken it out on a very light rain day and a battery cover is a must, I however would not do it. I would not store the bike outside if it’s raining and if I had to I would use a tarp to cover it and take the battery inside, however I don’t reccomend that and would never do it personally. Best practice is to leave it in a garage or bring it in the home with you.
At the price it isn't also a surron isn't an ebike.
It's the hub motor. Get it replaced. The bearings are going bad. I had this exact issue and had to get a new motor last month.
How much did it cost ?
@@Ahabibisarshari Free under warranty. You might think everything is ok if the noise disappears but it's just a matter of time for that motor to go out. Best to replace it as soon as you have the noise or it'll come back later after your warranty is done and you are SOL at that point.
I’m trying to get somebody from super 73 to send me a hub motor but there is a problem I can’t get a hold of anybody.anybody has any suggestions?

@@Ahabibisarshari They've been pretty responsive in my experience. I've had to get 3 major components replaced under warranty and although i had a mixed experience in the quality of their support reps they always responded
Super 73 makes great looking quality bikes there is absolutely no argument with that. The issue is they are just not competitive at their current price points in 2023 for what they offer compared to other quality competitors (C3Strom Arial Rider Ride 1 up Rev1)
I agree! However no retailer in Ontario that I know of currently push of have the c3strom, Ariel rider or rev1, if they were they’re all incredible bikes at a better price point!
It sounds like you just need to invest in another battery and the parallel connection and your good.

Do you follow Shreddie McSkates RUclips videos? He always says to “always check your nuts!” Once a month I re-tighten as many bolts and screws I can, from the wheels to the handlebars and now mirrors..😂
I need to get into that habit! I usually only tighten once a season but going to start before each ride, and yea shreddie Mcskate is legendary 🙌🏽
Don’t forget the rev 1 and c3Strom. Both more powerful and comparable price or even cheaper! Oh, I bought my Super 73 rx 2 years ago. If I could do it again today, I would probably get something else cheaper. 30 mph is fast enough for me, and always looking over my shoulder for cops doesn’t sound appealing to me if I bought a Surron
Rev 1 is a good bike! Was unaware they shipped it to Canada until this morning! I don’t believe c3strom ships up North but definitely has some good looks! Haven’t seen to much about it but I’ll watch some videos to learn more!

its weird i had the same thing happen to me around the 200 mile mark. after 150 miles later it became completely silent again. currently close to 1200 miles on my s2 and havent heard any noise like this since
That’s amazing, so guessing it will go away on its own? I’ve put in a request with super73, let’s see what they say
@@themasked7384 depends my s2 was one of the new ones with v3 motor. i put in a request too when it first started making noise but i didnt want to wait for the replacement hub motor. i basically use it for commuting and use it all the time. most people change it out when it starts making noise. my situation was a strange case. i didnt do anything besides continually riding it and tightening my spokes. how many miles have you put on your s2?

No experience with e bikes but plenty of pedal experience and it sounds like loose spokes. Albeit I'm probably wrong. Just thought I'd share a thought.
