Do you have a video to install a new keypad? Just curious which pins the cable attachment goes on?
Thanks for the video
Hey brotha, I just wanna say I appreciate you making this video. this video helped me out so much. Thank you.
This video helped me impress my boss! Thank you. Straight easy and to the point. The directions that come with the AK11 are so confusing.
You didn’t explain how to delete a 4 digit door access code like the one you entered at the end of the video.
I changed my 4 digit code and erased the original 4 digit code. Why does it make me enter the code twice in order to open or close? Also after changing the code, my DoorBird that also controls the gate opener no longer seems to work. It says it is triggering the relay but nothing happens. It is like the DoorBird app lost its credentials when I changed the 4 digit code on the Linear keypad. Also after changing the code, my remote door openers needed to be reprogrammed as it seemed like it removed their authentication as well.
Stupid question but directory codes would be apt. Numbers right?
Hi were you able to access a way to find an available directory code to use?
When I’m entering the number and hit “#” it shows up as “c” and then doesn’t let me put the full number in
Just need to know how to erase all previous 4 digit entry codes on a dks 1830 board
You’re a god bro
Easy enough! Thanks for the shirt and sweet explanation
Grasias Eso esta firme ayudante
I see you get this all the time but homeboy you saved my ass. I have a box that I need to get working but they don’t have the phone system up yet and that’s the only way I saw how to program until this now I will be able to make my deadline because you took the time to put this information out there you are bad ass Installer my dude I owe you a beer and a joint
I’m glad it worked out 🤝
That helps a lot thank you
Thank you for your video, it was so easy to program after watching your video.
can I add Multiple codes for different people ? or temp codes
Thanks a lot!
How do you change the master code?
Nice phone call box.
Nice door call box
Are you available in the LA area?
Hello, Yes I am available for service and installs in Los Angeles area. Feel free to email me at lazar.mtsservices@gmail.com
Después de marcar el código se escucha el tono de marcación pero la llamada no logra salir al teléfono correspondiente, se escucha el aviso de que número no disponible y que lo intente más tarde y en ocasiones menciona número no existente
The technician that installed this for me won't give me the access code he programmed. how can I change that? I want to be able to change the code I give to workers for entry, it's a problem when they no longer work for me and have access code to enter. Thank you in advance!
Hello Yohana, In order to delete a 4 digit entry code you will need to know the master code. Default MC is 9999 iIf the tech has not changed it. Try *14+9999 then entry the 4 digit entry code followed by * If that does not work then you need to open the panel to manually change the master code. I do service these panels in the LA area if you need further assistance.
Thank you 🙏
Hey great video! I don't know why but my system only allows 7 digits for the phone number. All your steps were perfect but I cannot add an area code. When I press # it says "C" do you know how to fix that?
Hello Zane, your system is an olde model that requires a separate area code programing. Unfortunately this is extremely difficult to explain in comment sorry. Are you located in the Los Angles area?
Great job. I've even been sending it to building owners.
Thank you Timothy 🤝 I’m glad this video is helpful. Feel free to let me know if there is any other systems or DK models you’d like to see tutorials on and I’ll try my best to make them. Have an amazing rest of your day
Does this work with the MDTK model as well?
Thank you! Great demo.
Hello, Thank you for the kind words. I am happy this was a helpful tutorial. We install and service Doorking and multiple other access control systems in the Los Angeles area. If your are ever in need of service please feel free to reach out :)
Very good job man. Excellent video. Thanks a lot.
Thank you
How do you program a code to activate relay 1 and relay 2 to open door or gate? Thank you
How do you delete the 4 Digit Entry Code? Thanks
1) *14 + master code 2) Enter the individual 4 digit entry code you wish to delete 3) Press (0#) together to exit programming Pretty much the same steps as adding an entry code as seen in this video but in this case you will start with *14 instead of *02 Hope this helps
@@lowvoltagehowtos499 Amazing! Thank you for the fast reply!! It worked perfectly.
Stuck after the master code is added in. I get the beep but no display or anything after the number that is wanting to be deleted. After 30 seconds I get a short beep and the welcome screen shows
Is the master code the 123456 the original Pass code ???
Yes
Excellent info, man you sure sound like my co worker lol
Thank you! Made it so much easier than the book.. You rock!
So grateful for this video! Thank you!
I’m glad it was helpful Thank you
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! Easy
Anytime I’m glad it was helpful
I have 2 of these setups for 1 gate, 1 outside, and another inside. I programmed both with new codes but the inside one doesn't allow my remotes to work after typing a code. The solid green light stays on, so I have to enter the code again for the light to turn red, then the remotes will work. What did I do wrong?
I have same situation...tech support can't figure it out either...would love to know this answer
Is this the same for and 1815-1817 models?
Sorry for the late reply An 1815 is usually connected to another system since all it does is acts as a keypad, but the system it is connected to should be easily programmable through PC. It is completely different and more difficult to explain over RUclips comments. I am in Seattle WA area and I also do affordable service calls if one is needed. Feel free to reach out if your also in the Seattle area and we can set something up
Love it! This is a pro here because he just gets to the point and makes it really simple. No fluff or other crap on the video just gets right in it. Great job
I appreciate the love and kind words. I’m glad this video was helpful and crap-free :) please subscribe to get notified about future tutorial videos. Your awesome… have a blessed and safe rest of your day
GREAT AND FAST THANK YOU
I’m glad this helped 🙂
how erease all codes wit out code i forget the code and i need re install other new code
You will need the key to open the keypad to reset master code .If you have the key then steps are… Step1: Open keypad Step2: locate jumper JP2. This jumper is used to reset the master code. Step3: with power applied to the keypad, remove jumper JP2. The keypad will begin to beep, signaling that the code has been reset. Step4: put JP2 jumper back. THE MASTER PROGRAMMING CODE IS NOW (123456) Steps below are for FACTORY RESET. THIS WILL MASTER RESET KEYPAD TO FACTORY SETTINGS ERASING ALL MEMORY INCLUDING EXISTING ENTRY CODES. Step 1: disconnect power from keypad Step2: press and hold (* and #) keys Step3: connect power while holding (* and #) until the red LED starts flashing Step4: release the (* and #) the red & yellow will remain lit until the process is complete. Hope this helps Have a blessed day 👏
@@lowvoltagehowtos499 Do you have a video on this Master resting process??? I have a manager leave and took all the codes with him... Need to set new master and gate opening codes.... Also how many codes can be stored on this key pad????
@@johnnylujan648 Hello Johnny, do you have the physical key 🔑 to open the keypad with the lock located on the bottom of the keypad?
@@lowvoltagehowtos499 I am looking for that now... If i cannot find the key, I will have locksmith come and open it then have a new lock and or key made.... I think i found how to do it once I get it open.... Think I will be setting it back to factory and then starting over with new master and then access codes....
