Kickstarter Pitch Video, 'Scattering', A photobook about shamanism and crows in South Korea
I'm excited to announce the launch of my latest project, "Scattering," a limited edition photography book exploring the crow feeding rituals on Jeju Island in South Korea. As part of their shamanic faith, residents of Jeju Island leave portions of food for scavenging animals, especially crows. Over several years, I documented the special relationship between people and large-billed crows in the village of Darakut. "Scattering" explores ritualistic bird-feeding in South Korea and its profound implications.

Is jeju island spiritually a depiction of battles coming from other spiritual place or nation..Just my thought..thanks
It is precisely the lack of a specifically prescriptive element in her first book - Seaweed and Shamans - that made this book valuable to me. I have a small stack of grief literature, but that book is the only one I read. I sat down and read it straight through in 2-3 days. The various "advice" books have some value, but I find I can't get through more than 10-20 pages of them.
