A tribute to our old building on White Oak Circle
During the summer of 2020, I accepted an engineering job at a fiber optics start-up company. At that time the factory had only been open for a week and we've come a long way since then. Now, in May of 2022 we've just completed the move to a larger facility and had to say goodbye to our old facility. This is a tribute to our old building and the memories we shared there.

I was at a water lantern festival this evening where you had to draw something on the water lantern and let it go into a river (they all were caught a little downstream). I can't draw very well and since Battlezone Combat Commander one of my favorite games and is on sale this weekend...this is what happened.

A couple months back, I wrote a shorter version of this song that I used in a video for the small but enduring Battlezone community. I liked the song so much that I decided to re-write it into more of a full length song with lyrics more relatable for anyone. As for myself, I think part of me will always think a little about the Battlezone community whenever I listen to this song. Hope you like it!

I have no idea why this song is so cool but I love it
Great job expanding on it and adding drums, extra synth layers, and other instruments! Sounds like a natural progression of what the song would be if it was a House song, or nostalgia trip song.

You're welcome, glad you enjoyed. I had never heard of Spacelab or Kraftwerk but I just listened to that song and it is very cool so thanks for pointing me to that song. It sounds like a similar musical style to the original ringtone but I don't think it is probably the source so I think the source of the ringtone is likely still a mystery.

I got a Samsung A40 from a friend because my iPhone 12 Pro Max is under repair. Actually, I don't like an Android device or a Samsung device... but when I was browsing through the ringtones, I noticed Comet and I immediately fell in love with this sound. This sound gives you strength and in the morning, I wake up without any complaints. Thanks for this remix, it runs in a loop all day long.
