The difficulty of older games is heavily overrated. The only difference is that the gap between the good and bad units is wider than it is in modern SRW. Getter and Combattler have been breaking the game since 3, if not earlier.

@@Duothimir No, the difficulty new games are insanely low. Just look at how SP costs are in Z compared to the new games. SP Regen was limited to like 2 damage dealers, Renton and Loran, and both of them aren't very good pilots to begin with.. Drive and Accel being +2 and +4 and Drive being very limited and expensive meant that units were good not just for their damage output but their access to spirit commands and you couldn't easily make your entire team zoom around the map until later in the game. And if we're going further back from Z, like OG2, the game was brutal if you actually wanted to get all the SR points and stay in Hard mode. SRW30 doesn't even have SR points in Hard Mode meaning that any difficulty from increased enemy stats is mitigated by being able to be defensive and wait as long as you want to finish maps. That, combined with everyone having massive SP pools and SP regen for free, means that you can blow all your SP early and still have enough to burn the boss down with Valor/Soul at the end, instead of having to make tactical decisions on whether or not you want Kouji to spend Guard and give up access to Valor later on. Terrain has also become much less important and gone are the horrors of Barellion support lines with S ranks in terrain (though some of the enemies in 30 did make strong defensive lines, they were mostly only from the OG villain units). If you think that the only difference comes from the power of good vs bad units then you haven't actually spent anytime thinking about this.

Well, these ones were slapped together with the help of a genuine Getter pilot in Hayato, and don’t pack nearly as much of a punch as Arc or Shin.

You totally can mass produce getter robots, it's part of humanity's destiny, but for now the problem is finding suitable pilots. This baby here is a refined and improved version of the original Getter G, but its output had to be severely limited to make it usable by regular pilots.

He did admit his defeat and asked for an honourable death by the hands of Getter Robo in the manga. However he was backstabbed and killed just before that by Brai.

Sé que comentaste hace meses pero, según lo que recuerdo, es porque el Shin se conectó con los tres pilotos y acabó "evolucionando", por lo que pudo unirse o "absorver" las cosas a su alrededor. Esto es porque, según lo que entiendo, los rayos getter son la existencia misma y permitieron la evolución del universo y las especies. Es básicamente TODO lo existente. Siempre serán un misterio pero se sabe que pueden penetrar la conciencia de los pilotos y unificarse con ellos, por eso aparecen fusionados con el robot. Sobre este último, el Shin Getter es una creación descontrolada, creo que es uno de los robots que más rayos getter tiene en su escencia (por decirlo de alguna manera), porque el Shin Getter ES rayos getter, puede evolucionar, fusionarse, etc. Eso fue lo que entendí y recuerdo más o menos. Si no leiste los mangas, son super recomendables e interesantes, sobre todo para entender algo de los rayos getter, aún cuando nunca sabremos lo que realmente son o qué otras cosas son capaces de hacer.

​@@elfantasma8674 Lo que pasó es que luego de los suceso del manga de Shin se quedó pudriéndose en rayos getter en el laboratorio Saotome ya abandonado por 10 años, si no me equivoco en tiempo, y ya en Shin estaban diciendo que los rayos tenían conciencia pero no era algo benevolente, si ayudaba a los humanos era porque había elegido a la especie humana como aquellos que se alzaran por encima de todas las especies Al final de Go, cuando van a buscarlo estaba en un estado similar al del Dragón que está bajo tierra, había alcanzado un nivel de evolución monstruoso al punto de que cuando la gente normal se subía al Shin o les absorbía la mente o los volvía directamente locos También había ganado la habilidad de absorber materia e incorporarla a si mismo, llega incluso a generar un Shin Getter 2 desde su pecho, y lo que hace al final es absorber a toda la armada reptiloide e irse a Marte, a seguir evolucionando
