​@@jeanbiroute it is lol for many but my heritage... also what is important is the number of reference populations, but you have no such thing as lebanese dna etc you just compare to families who have been living in dna for some centuries and the closer you are to them, the more you will score... take you , you share 100% of your dna with yourself, with your parents 50% each etc with your neighbours if they have lived in the same area as your parents for centuries, much less but more than people from 1000km away.. etc etc and that's how they can tell you that

@@yussef961 We should make DNA test free world wide. It wouldn't cost too much and we could map the world in a few years. because the problem if no one in Lebanon does the test your data will always be crippled because they don't have enough data

define mixed, is half german half english mixed for you? cause it's 100% west europe, if i take the more global area i am 95% west asia , also people who are 100% lebanese it's only the past 200 years, if you take from older times it's not 100

apres tout depend de l'echelle geographique : tout les test (sauf my heritage) et j en ai fait plus de 10, me donnent asiatique de l'ouest a 95% et europe de l ouest a 0% par exemple...donc ca c est tres fiable... si on va au niveau du pays, j'ai presque dans tout les tests 75% le liban au moins ou syrie et ca c est confirme par ma famille biologique

si on va au niveau de la region 23andme a bien trouvé (le test le plus fiable) en regions beirut et nabatiyé en premier... de toute facon le mieux c est de faire le plus de test possible et faire une moyenne de tous

also ancestry recently took 18% from lebanon and put it to cyprus which could explain the "greek" thing because geographically cyprus is 100km away from lebanon and far from greece and would probably have people dna close to the ones in lebanon...

that is true I did 23andme , family tree dna and ancestry as well, for my heritage I just uploaded the dna to them and also true there has been many interbreeding in these area so hard to tell between cyprus and lebanon for example (or syria) when you are adopted without any clue from where you are from though having a rough idea of where you come from is great. when you are not you already know so often disappointed by the results
