    Love your channel. My wife and I own a cafe in the states. I’m the barista of it. I love the work to. Owning the business on your own definitely has its pros and cons. You may make more money but your also spending a lot more to. Definitely not a career to get rich in unless you own multiple locations or it’s just out the door jam packed. (In my opinion ). We have some friends who also own spaces. They put it this way , “you will never feel so rich and so broke all at the same time”. One day you will look at your bank account with some good money in it then you realize “oh damn I have to pay the employees, I have to buy more product , the dish washer broke I have to fix, the utilities are due , my lease is due (not only for the space but your own personal home)”. It’s a lot to take on. And days off aren’t as easy either. Lot of our employees just get to take off if they need but the owners no. Lot of people think it must be nice but it’s not as it seems. Don’t get me wrong tho. I’d rather own the spot then work at it so wouldn’t change it. Just really think about it before going all in.

      @franciscochavez1010 thank you for sharing your experience and thought. And yes.. even though I'm not there yet but I kind of understand what you mean. Earlier, I wanted to have my own cafe because I have my own space, and admired cafe owners but the more I work, the more I realize owning and managing a cafe is much harder than I thought (especially when there is inflation and recession.. ) At the moment, I still enjoy making coffee , but because of those.. nowadays, I keep thinking, should i continue this career as my main job to cover my living cost (barista or open a new cafe and become owner) or study something else and enjoy coffee as hoby. 🫠

      @@My_Coffee_Space well sounds like your in a good spot as you have options. Once you sign a lease it’s all in from there. We have done it all when it comes to the food industry. Not sure how it is in Australia but another option that is much cheaper and it can be a step to see if it’s something you really want is buying a coffee cart or coffee trailer. We had one custom built. We would do pop ups out of it. Depending on permitting you can go downtown or setup at your local farmers markets. Money tends to be pretty good. Way less overhead and it’s a lot of fun. Honestly we miss those days and will eventually make our way back. You can serve what you want and there is no high expectations for customers if you’re closed or open.

    Hey ! Could you explain your technique when you have to split milk for different type of coffee for the same order ? Thanks in advance, super cool video btw :)

    • @My_Coffee_Space
      @My_Coffee_Space 9 дней назад

      hello, thank you. whenever I need to split the milk for different coffees, I try to pour the most froth required coffee first. for example, If I have a order for 1 cap with 1 latte, steam milk slightly more than latte in bigger jug and finish pouring cappuccino coffee and pour the rest on latte. As the coffee cup, mug and glasses are different and cannot steam perfect foam amoun all time, it may differ but mostly it works quite well for me. I made a video of spliting milk for different coffee, so if you have interest, here is the link ruclips.net/video/7id7KRvvl1s/видео.htmlsi=9OV5h6C_gi2BaUnI thank you for watching my video :)

    I recently audited your RUclips channel and noticed a few on-page SEO issues that might be hindering your growth: 1. Video overviews are not fully optimized. 2. Titles and descriptions lack SEO optimization. 3. Missing high-volume ranked tags. 4. Create Eye-catching thumbnail Despite your great video quality, these factors are impacting your views and subscriber count. 안녕하세요 ! 저는 멜번에서 바리스타로 일하고 있습니다! 전 플랫,라떼,캡 스팀밀크 두께 차이에 대해 항상 고민하고 유지하려고 노력 중인데, 한님은 어떻게 두께 조절을 하려고 하시는지 궁금해요:) 그리고 저는 큰 팟에 스팀밀크를 만들고 두개의 커피를 만들 때 스팀밀크 두께가 서로 다른 것도 좀 아쉽고 궁금해요..ㅠㅠ 마지막으로 아몬드나 소이밀크 스팀 진행하면 가끔 텍스쳐가 맘에 안들고 아트도 잘 안나오더라구요ㅠ 안정화가 잘 안되는 건지..

      안녕하세요! 멜번에서 바리스타로 일하신다니.. 대단하세요. 몇몇 분들은 육안으로 스팀이 얼만큼 올라오는지 확인하고 만드신다고 들은 것 같은데요, 저는 보통 시간초를 파악해 두고 이정도로 스팀치면 되겠구나 하면서 두께조절을 하고 있어요. 아무래도 스팀을 친 후에 두개의 커피를 만들때 두께가 다른 부분은... 저도 많이 아쉬워 하는 부분인데요, 이건 정말 많이 부어보고 감으로 익히는 수 밖에 없는것 같아요..; (저도 이 부분이 매번 아쉽답니다;) 아몬드 소이밀크는 아무래도 보통 우유보단 조금 더 힘든데요, 스팀으로 초반에 짧게 폼을 만들고 남은 시간은 우유를 혼합하는데 더 신경을 쓰니까 예전보다 훨씬 좋아졌어요. :)
