13:36 maximum likelihood (MLE) is a statistical technique to fit some data points by assuming the underlying probability distribution and approximate its parameters. the cost functions can be derived using this technique. in the slide a normal distribution is assumed, and the mean is the model itself, and the variance is the identity matrix (identically and independently distributed points) and MLE used to derive the mean square error.

السلام عليكم عندي سوال بسيط في ال Explicit Approaches هو ممكن الواحد يستخدم ( ال fitness sharing مع ال extinction) او يستخدم ( الcrowding مع ال extinction) وطبعا مش هنعرف نستخدم ( ال fitness sharing مع ال crowding) لانهم عكس بعض و شكرا جدا
اه زي ما انت قولت بالظبط ممكن اه تستخدم fitness sharing او crowding مع extinction بس طبعا في حالة انك محتاج دا في ال problem بتاعتك
