Can you tell me what the outlets are like on this ship ? Also I hope they get it fixed by December I am going with my Fiance for new years .

I'm on the Valor now and the new point system SUCKS!!! This is 85 Carnival cruise, most of which are casino offers, and never have been treated like this. They gave me be a picture frame! I always get a Steakhouse dinner but not this cruise. A picture frame. Come on Carnival, casinos make lots of money. I'm totally disappointed with this crazy point change and hope enough cruises complain and things go back to normal.

Great video! We are scheduled for the same 6 day cruise Sept. 29th - Oct 5th. I here the Vista has canceled the Sept. 07th cruise to do a more substantial repair. Have you heard of any other news? Thanks

I am shocked people continue to book and promote the Carnival Vista ship. This is a 100% Carnival and Vista issue and the individuals that should be held responsible and FIRED on the spot are the useless CHRISTINE DUFFY AND JOHN HEALD. These two wastes spaces of individuals have given all women leaders and brand representatives a bad name. I was on this same horrible Vista ship when it broke the 3rd time. Week after week this shameless liar and corporate greedy woman, Christine Duffy would send out emails one day before embarkation to all booked guests stating that the ship had JUST developed a propulsion issue and that it was being fixed by Engineers on board...She and her corporate puppet John Heald LIED and sailed the ship week after week for 9 months. As a result ports of call were cancelled or we arrived hours late resulting in all shore excursions and destination visits to be cancelled, itinerary changes, etc. This is the height of shamelessness by Carnival and specifically these corporate thugs. It is very easy to stand on the sideline and point fingers at disgruntled passengers who are calling out the TRUTH that Carnival is running a scam with this Vista ship at the cost of thousands of guests week after week. If something like this happens to you then you will realize versus judging people who are suffering due to Corporate greed. I cannot insist enough everyone people - please write emails to John Weinstein the President of Carnival Corporation to fire Christine Duffy the Present of Carnival Cruise Line and this wasted space John Heald. This is simple unacceptable! SHAME ON CARNIVAL! SHAME ON CHRISTINE DUFFY! SHAME ON JOHN HEALD!

If you are on a casino cruise (with premium/ultra/elite gamblers) there are a lot more people gambling more, so the offers on the ship are harder to come by! Example, you might get 5000 pts on one cruise and get no offers on ship, cause there were a lot of higher end players on that cruise, while another cruise with no premium/ultra cruisers having fewer high end gamblers you get offers on the ship with less points! I always play around the same amount, about 15,000 points in a 7 day cruise cause i only gamble during the day on sea days! On a casino cruise (ultra/elite) I'm not in the top 50 point getters, so I might get a steak house offer at a time no one wants! While on no casino cruises, my points are top 10 and I get offers everyday! No matter though, I still get multiple free balcony offers every time when we get home!

I did 50,000 points in February. I automatically received perks every 10,000 points. Plus I’ve received over $30,000 in cruise offers, perks and casino kick backs. I am already booked on 2 sailings in the next 9 months that I’m actually receiving approximately $10,00 in room credits, free play and other onboard perks. The amount I play, I look at as an investment towards future cruises. My returns are much, much larger than the amount I gambled with. I specifically went on the ship with a plan, bankroll and goal in mind of what I want to get out of my play. Mission accomplished. Most people can’t do this, so just have fun… win, lose or draw. If you really want to take advantage of the perks, you need to personally introduce yourself to the casino host, tell them you’re playing for comps and what your starting bank roll is. You need to plan an average of 3k - 5k points a night. The casino host will know who you are after your first 10,000 points and will great you by name and find you to give you your comps. Never gamble more than you can afford too lose, remember it’s for entertainment and don’t forget all the wonderful things that Carnival provides. There’s so much to do other than just the casino! Bon Voyage! 🛳️

We are going on the Carnival vista in December I am hoping for the best for our trip

I “recycled” a total of $26k on my last cruise this past March and I think left with 22k points. I did leave a winner due to some large jackpots I got but I did put a lot of it back (I walked off the ship with $9800 more than I came with so I was happy). Since then, I feel that my carnival casinos offers got worse. I used to get 1k free play and free suite but now it’s a balcony room. Or I can pick a free suite but I only get $200 free play. I might switch cruise lines if this keeps up

I just hope this doesn’t affect the new offers coming out in September. I’m not gonna chase a free steak dinner for $14k!!

What happens if you fund your account with gift cards but you don’t use all the on board credit? Are you able to get the money back? Or does it go to a Carnival account in your name? Or is it forfeited? How does that work?

I love it! I will be sailing Nov 30th for 2nd cruise ever on this ship! The last one was right before hurricane Ian, where they closed the port of Tampa for 2 days, so I paid for a five day and got 7!! I'm excited to see what other ships Carnival has in their fleet! I did O.k. on the roulette wheel!

I have been under the Skyway Bridge several times both in the day and night on various cruise ships and it’s always the highlight of my trip. Watching as the ship barely makes it under the bridge is amazing.
