True. Edit: If I am not wrong, almost all Beyblades in every Beyblade chapter is CGI and not hand drawn.

For what it's worth, the CGI actually kinda looks pretty good for this race. The rain effects help mask the somewhat plastic-y look the cars usually have in this stage.

As far as I know, they didn't even have resources and software to do what they did, so it's kinda of a miracle the anime even happened.

Bro he might be easy to defeat but the conditions takumi was racing were new to him plus it was a complete different mountain pass so it was hard to takumi

@@_mrk347_ The rain wasn't new to Takumi at all. He'd driven in the rain a lot already. It was a new mountain, but it wasn't that difficult apparently since he caught up to Kenta super quickly

@@_mrk347_ “I’ve driven Akina pass, rain or shine, everyday for the last 5 years.” The show even brings up the fact he would drive during the winter time as well. This was established really early on in the show

@@youraveragegamer8832yeah and plus Takumi says he’s driven in the rain himself earlier in the season. I’ve been watching it for the first time recently so it’s fresh in my mind. Not an anime guy but I love cars. Honestly if there’s other anime similar to this I might watch some others. But this one doesn’t seem to be as… cringy as some others I’ve watched. I don’t mean cringy as an insult by any means. Some of this stuff I just don’t understand. But I understand this one just fine. Sorry for the rant lol

Actually the burning sound? on the very first part of the music is kinda like raining sound, I'm not sure if it was intended or not but nice touch

Originally the song was called Knights of Fire. It was written for Gundam Wing but they never used it because the producers thought it was too upbeat and it ended up being used in Initial D and changed to Night of Fire.

@@codekuch4192 Back around in the early 2000s when Napster was a big thing, I found the song on there called Knights of Fire - Gundam Wing and when I listened to it I thought “I don’t remember hearing this in Gundam Wing before. That’s when I did a little research and found out about why it wasn’t in the show and then I found the Initial D version. I don’t know why there isn’t any information about it now. Probably buried under pages and pages of Googles crappy search results. You can actually find the Gundam version on RUclips if you search “Knights of Fire Gundam”. If you listen to the first 10 seconds of the track you’ll hear the intro that isn’t on the Initial D version and it has a distinct Gundam feel to it.

I believe this animation is leftover, because as far as I know, initially the anime was supposed to be made in this style, but during the development they decided to switch to shitty cgi

@@YablokoGsounds like BS to me, they use some 3D here and they use it well, Initial D for its time was extremely impressive with its CGI, go look at some late 90’s and early 2000’s CGI in the west lmao, it has a certain charm to it and captures the way the cars take the corners in a way they simply couldn’t do in 2D, it’s why Ill never like the movie remakes as much as original season 1 even if you put the eurobeat over it, there’s some magic there in season 1’s animation and I think it came from passionate hardworking animators, early on it’s definitely worse though, it improves over time within season 1
