The weather was bad here Sunday morning and the church parking lot was icy as was the sidewalk. service was cancelled for safety concerns. Me and my farm dog/ basset hound/ best friend went over to the church, rang the bell and did our devotions in the farm truck. where there's a will there is usually a way! love your capsule sermons.

I was raised primarily on NKJ and I love it. I also enjoy reading from the NLT, ESV, and AMPC. And yes, my Bibles are full of notes, underlines, etc. The Bible is His living Word, and it’s totally ok to write all over it when something jumps out at you!

NIV leaves out a number of verses if you start comparing it to King James.

NOPE. NKJV is basically the JW Bible. Once you remove or change over 60,000 words it’s no longer the Bible. Sorry.
