My door issue is opposite this....hits at bottom, very wide gap at top. We're changing out the falling apart old doors & have this 1 causing problems. If you put the old door back up, even with new hinges, it's fine. If you use the new door, even with the old hinges, it absolutely doesn't align. No matter what we do, we have the gap at the top & it hits at the bottom. crooked as a politician. 'Bout to loose our minds.

Mate you're a legend, I had this issue nearly every time I converted a movie and had to use more expensive flash drives.

Since this is a common issue, why won't the Shoe manufacturers build the toe box to avoid the holes? This seems like another case of planned obsolescence. Thanks for the tip.

thank you for the video -- they also have this in a full post, Ive used it twice and it works very well (just replaced it again because the neighborhood drunk took it out.... anyway I also would recommend putting the metal piece in the wood first then using a scrap 2x4 and small sledge hammer to pound it into the ground as an assembly it just seems easier.

That was great! Almost everytime i try a diy project, half of my time is spent reworking something I've already worked on at least twice before. And thats AFTER ive double checked measurements. My biggest problem is not planning ahead far enough. Fantastic job man, and congrats on getting married🎉

there's so much videos out here that said concrete counters to be easy ,, than when start watching then they turn out to be an informercial for companies of products they are using it's a sham.. thank you for this video i can honestly say now I have the guts to do my small kitchen counter this way it seems easy as 1-2-3

these are totally fine, but if anybody is interested in being informed of water/sump issues while away from home, check out the moen sump pump moniter. It was under $200 from lowes. It has an audible arm but also, through wifi, sends you text alerts. It moniters the water level at all times and records the history of the pump usage

You could have used single component grout that’s supposed to be stain proof after it cures. The single use grout had an elastomeric property similar to quality exterior paint but much thicker. I will admit that applying it worked me over as I was redoing my kitchen/dining, entryway, and 3 baths and I demoed out all of the grout with an oscillation tool. My builders grout was the original sand based grout and I live in Las Vegas and naturally they didn’t backbutter any on my 20x20 tiles or made sure that the grout was hydrated correctly, monitored for dehydration while applying and maintained for long future use. A year after I purchased the place there were still small bits showing up and sticking to my feet. After researching the shit out of tile work, I decided to jump in and take it on. When I was a contractor working homes in the 90s I had a few friends that did this so I’ve been around it more than most folks. The one issue that pushed me forward to even consider doing this fix was I had counted a total qty of 23 loose tiles where the contractors thin set had failed. After pulling a few of them I was able to conclude that it was just shoddy half assed work where the thin set was maybe 50-60% installed right. Their thin set troweling tool was the wrong spacing for that size of tile and on top of that there was a lack of thin set across tiles as well. Piss poor foundation gives what it sounds like. When I finished it was such a relief, but my ass was dragging at times. The finished product looked even better than I planned because my old grout color was one of the colors they didn’t have readymade and I was willing to move over a couple shades for me to be comforted that the grout wasn’t going to crumble again. During my first open house my realtor told me that half of the viewers asked what was my tile grout secret. I wanted to take this as a win and lie and explain that I’m scrubbing floors when I’m not at the office. I instead just explained that the old grout was tired so I replaced it all. I mentioned that the new grout was elastic, which I have to believe will last 3X longer than any original sand grout. Good luck!
