Only about a quarter of the way into this book. I love it! It is rare to find this type of book. I so appreciate the download. Kudos to the author and the narrators.🙏❤️
Madam! What is this spicy meatball cooking at the end of this chapter??
I really wish I could buy this book ....
Just discovered this series. I'm riveted! Love it❤❤❤❤❤❤
I absolutely love this book. Thank you for allowing us into the world of Mr Glass and Miss Steele. I feel like I'm stepping back in time.
Loved this book. BUT is this really the end?? I’m so unhappy with how it ended! 😭
Great story. Thanks for uploading.
Superb book I really enjoyed it thanks for sharing a must listen

I listened to the entire series already. Fantastic series. I might add. I wish the books were never removed. I would love to listen to them again.
This series after the rift is such a great series. Bravo to CJ Archer and Marian Hussey.
its the best!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is so good do you know if the second one is out
Get rid of the bloody adverts or I will just not bother with your books anymore. It's a wonderful story but the adverts are pissing me off
It's a great book but too many adverts. You can't appreciate the story when RUclips just keep dropping adverts every few minutes
A+ for variety of characters!
Very promising writer.
The narrator was outstanding and kept me engaged throughout... I look forward to listening to book 2!
❤❤❤ Thank you for this story, I'm so invested, I really would love the next installment please? ❤❤❤ xXx
I don't understand the comments that this story is boring. I enjoyed it ❤
I’m really enjoying this story.
Are you kidding me, three commercials in the first five minutes, shabby real shabby.
I was baking and cooking while listening. I enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to book 2. Thank you.
great unique story
Far too many adverts I've been trying to relax and go to sleep any chance you can take most of them out?
Sleep audiobooks does that
Use an ad blocker ❤
I enjoyed this reading very much. Reminds me a touch of Agatha Raisin mysteries with the joyful addition if magical interest;)
Thank you for posting this . I was hooked on the mystery and still am but very satisfied with the end and looking forward to continuing the series
Gyatt 😂
a very long intro to the next book. clever author, what a racket. 😂
Fine book, held my interest all through! And excellent reader, also. Sometimes I forgot it was only one voice actor 👍🏽👏🏾✌🏾❣️
A favorite series of mine! The longest series I’ve actually finished. Love the audiobooks! I hope it gets turned into a tv show. ❤
Great story and narration!!
Good job on the books mis, I really like the watchmakers daughter better than the last necromancer. Cleaner, far less quesionable moments. Better character logic, really good dialog, really well placed story. (setting, time, dialog, characters) Very little that's odd or off.. Thanks for sharing that world with us.
Thus far only ONE section really bothered me.... MC seen him glow or change like magic. seemingly get younger, with the use of the watch. only one time. But all the way up till recent did not believe in magic and assumed he had a drug addiction. /faceplam THAT bothered me. EVERYTHING ELSE has been wonderful. I'm at 2:00 m and 17 chapters. really do like how it's all gone. Dialog, characters. But i'm slightly anoyed the americans are either super villians or super dumbish. Sure hand full of characters is not a wide selection is nothing to pull from. But EH. makes me think bloody hell, aint no americans i know that are this befuddled. Bullox. :P but still i'm given thumbs up. Go 41. --- Side question: What is the value of the money/ time period. Could 2k, buy a house, buy a house + work equipemnt, buy enough to run a buissness? I know at a certain point in time a few dollars was a lot, so 2 k is wow. BUT, a house, and workshop. -- I'm fond of this book, and writer. Only had a few things I'd have issue with. But Here is a quality book, characters, setting, and dialog. Thank you for the meal. :D
Guess it's really important to know scammer, lieers and thief's in order to deal with them. And not loose your interests. Problem is to not get a bad rep from being around nor dealing with them. But one who has the opportunity to separate from them has a better chance of remaking their life. Assuming you really do intend on marking a change of life choice. Make a new rep. If you will. If not then well good luck. Rarely is there solid kinship in thief's.
MMM.... interesting... curious.... I like so far. Time to see where it goes.... Time is also short.... So she has to watch her actions very carfefully if he's the big bad bandit... how's she going to hand-le this mess if she's getting out of homeless into working with a ticking time bomb.? ok i'm done.. :) one has to have some phun...
SPOILERS: DO NOT READ> Overall fair book, and had a deal of elements that worked out. Any decent person wouldn't want to tie a preson soul back to their body, and given that death is their way of freeing themself from a horrable life then their outrage only makes sence. Works out really well there. But learning 5 years of street smarts and how to avoid problems along with her agility and nimbleness, and cunning...? No this didn't work out very well time and again she's found herself out done and essentilly helpless. Sure some people could stomic pain and hurt without the knee jerk reactcion and keep doing what they are doing. They can Power Through it. But this is a small number of people who can take a maintained pain and not flinch. There needs to be a certain mind set to grit your teeth and bare with it. This does not equate to all guys. In homeless population it may be higher... maybe for people on the streets. As their desperate ways might force them to take it. But even people on the street know how to desperately fight back, hit soft spots to get away. And while a portion of rough people might be motivated vie sex, in the hirarchy of needs that is not one of the top ones... IF your starving to death yoru body is weaker less fit for fighting and everything else. HUNGER is the motivator, and anything that could satisfy that hunger, such as theift. I could see more people trying to steal her stuff to sell it than to just immedately R- her. I really did like the guy in the cell who chose to come to her defence but for him to die in just no time it was some what disapointing. Sure some really really big guys are strong, but some just big overwight guys can throw their weight around it does not equal power of might. Unelss they are sumo guys. Then they are both big and strong by what they do. Nails bite and tear, teeth bite even harder and tear, and just like she bit his hand when then so long as one limb is open you can fight back with that as much as you can use your mouth to hurt someone. So in most of those cases she would have to be totally restrained in a way that she could do no harm. And one hit in the throat, or to the groin with enough force and boom, fight is temperarily over. becuause if they can't breath , can't fight. OR groin hit and crumple. Just watch things like cat fight, or bum fight and you will find out how uncordnated amatures are at fighting. but they do sniff out the methods of fighting even with no expereance with it while they get beat up. Having frankenstien be her dad interesting twist, and very cool to have this search for acceptance. But for this stranger figure dependence and huge emotional tie to someone you never met before it is not likely. You would have to be really, really dependent and hard up for someone in your life to be putty in their hands. (yes i know she's not putty, but very influencable. ) If you take people who have been emotioinally damaged. AkA Been betrayed by those you held closeset. then this results in a type of character who does not trust anyone. Someone who treats others like eveyrone is lying, skeeming for something. if you get my meaning. Now the main love interest is as likeable as incomprehensable for so many reasons. Sure i get he's well buit, handsome.... but someone who acts like a psycopath and is able to treat virtually everyone as an object to be exploited really makes me wonder about the psycology of women. IF you see this type of behavior even if they treat YOU personally nice from time to time. then it wouldn't matter how nice they look when their actions are nothing short of being one step away from monsterous/ inhuman. I'm scratching my head when it seems like he's not even caring about those working with or for him, but he's a bit soft on her... a little. While at the same time completely sets her up to get abused when he kicks her out on the streat after cleaning her up, and making her look like an attractive lady. Courset restricts breathing, and keeps her from fighting back as well. But given all the lady clothing i would have expected her to run off to get that stuff sold at the clothing shop for as much as possible while bying mens clothing. Dirty it before nightfall and prepair to live as a dirty homeless guy. She's 5 years worth of know how and blending in the hard way. The way he's luke warm and ice cold to her just makes me scrach my head. IF it is only for his job, and he's doing these things as a set up. It seems well within his capability. but to be exceptionally crual to someone you care about, like or are interested in would just break your heart. Assuming you have one, and you are human yes sure to a large extent i liked the book, but some things just have me wondering. On an equal note i know little of the time period and place so it maybe the world then was so ... as described. But dealing with underbelly of society where there is no law, and might makes right. Well his lordship would be just as disposable if he's even more psycotic than the rest of the lot. To an extent it's nice to see not many bleeding heart types. but it seemed like the few really emethetic people were just dumb rather than fairly smart. I really apprecetate cunning, and street smart people. Even someone who's smooth enough to be quite and observe and copy the "Normal" to blend into the surroundings enough to not look like they don't belong. There is truth in the saying of if you remain silent then they can't tell how much you don't know, but when you open your mouth then you make it known how little or how much you really know. still good setting, fairly good characters, nice flow, it kept going without hanging up on any area. I just had some qualms about the people's "character" and psycology of them. But also good scare with the religous extremesst hunting her down you know because it's for god. but it begs the question why now, after some 5 years latter? just because she's around? Still overall good book, one that largely held the interst from start to finish. I've listenend to other books and quit early on or others left late in it because it just hung up, or lost interest badly. So this should give it a fairly solid appreceation for it. The cover art is very neat. But while i was expecting an eager necromancer it was the opposite. The reluctant necromancer with some morals. So what i like to say to all good books. "Thank you for the meal" :D
Of course it's a trap, dress her up and dump her to force her to deal with the streets as a woman and the delusion of her ability to deal with the situation. The one guy is looking for her to raise the bodies. There is some stupidity in it all. But if she's been on the streets then she should have figured it out by now, it's been 5 years. The corset obviously is also a trap for self defence. Some fair parts were functional but other parts are just dumb.
I am thrilled to have found your writing on YT. I read some of your earlier works but lost them with my oldest Kindle and oldest email -- aol, nuff said. This book and your Necromancer upload made my month! I listen to audiobooks almost exclusively -- eyes, age, yadda yadda -- and am on a limited budget -- disability, yadda yadda -- so finding you and these books were a true treat. What can this fan do to inspire you to upload more? ❤🎉❤
As audiobooks go, this is a really short one!
Hi, I have an idea to help reduce domestic violence & sex slavery. Keep in mind that we're not waiting for the idea that suits everybody. We need any good idea. Alter visa laws. Allow women to come to your countries to live alone & see 3-5 men who not come to her home, or know one another, or know her children unless they're their father. Stop calling women those dozens of words for erotic entertainer, because, you know, ever since women have chosen to be alone, well now we hear dozens of words like 'beautiful' & 'cutie' which when we try to stop we're faced with anger about. Now those words are associated with anger. They are used aggressively, with guys acting like they don't know you're not the only ones saying them, & we can't hear them the same anymore. I write about name calling people into corners. The word 'sugar baby' it's just another one of the dozens of 'bad words' for 'erotic entertainer', which when stacked mean something much worse which there's no word for to say we'd been called but people envision women who see & are supported by 3-5 as anyway ..so women who are erotic entertainers do worse things for less, & so with more men. All those words keep women trapped in the industry. They may be unaware. Men have written more & for longer, & since we were all only pairing like one another, we all tend to speak fluent male understanding. Incels, they're being told if they're our friends, the we're 'friendzoning' them, because the men who are with a woman are with them so not to be alone. Alone is their cause. Not mine. Not ours. There's no such thing as alone to a woman. We get jealous because we spend so much energy trying to find 'the one', knowing that if we lose you we'll be called 'single mum weight on the economy'. We are being cordoned between 'single mum weight on the economy' & 'sugarbaby' by words 'beautiful & cutie'. Sugarbaby is not what you call a mother. I go by 'nesty'. I'm pentamournest. Our all only pairing like one another isn't working out. Because of it, & to keep everyone all only pairing, you treat women who see 3-5 as wicked. You don't say that we hear those words for women since we're small now, & that we might be fed up with the name calling & the pairing like one another. Children are being disrupted their developments mid-upbringings. Things can't stay the way they are. Now there's over 30,000 sugar babies, let's change the visa laws for the women who are with someone who abuses them in lieu of being alone & being abused by strangers. Don't offer them a loving hand, & tell them they need to find 1 partner to be with in your country too. Just because you don't like a solution, doesn't mean it's not the solution. A woman dies every 11 minutes on this planet at the hands of a partner. 1/5 lifelong relationships are abusive, predominantly against the woman. They say we'll find 'the one' but you don't say that in finding the one it's a game of Russian roulette. They don't say that in Australia most children are disrupted their upbringings because of separation. They don't say that when we all only pair like one another in Ukraine, if our husband's go off to protect the country on one hand, our children stand to be abducted on the other. They don't say that where women cannot leave, there are less men who abuse women that men who do abuse women need to compete with for a woman. They say these things happen during war & in dangerous places. These things could happen anywhere we all only pair like one another. To be pentamournest is the only family situation children are safe in. I won't be called a 'sugar baby' anymore. We can help people, but we may not be able to do it as 'sugar baby'. It is a disrespected term. Even the men I see don't like it. They're respectable men. I don't mind the word. It's not us that's hurt by the mention of it. It's our children being hurt. They don't deserve that. Down with stigma. We need to alter those visa laws. ..A lot of the women who are killed by their partners, are killed on the way out the door. Don't make a scene. Just alter the visa laws so that women can leave those dangerous countries, & reduce global domestic violence & sex slavery. SugarBaby Incels
"You challenge the patriarchical system..." Right... not really the terms used back then i suspect.
This was a pretty dull story. Seemed like she took 100 trips back and forth to the palace lol.
😂😂😂 so many trips! But it's entertaining to me
I’m 4 hours in and the last 2 hours there has been no progress to the story, it’s so boring and dull. I will update if it starts getting better.
