This book was a great resource for ideas, practical advice ruclips.net/user/postUgkx-b91_bYU48sOwHX-XC49tRRXRxcnOmZm and pro tips I purchased the plans for the 10'x16' colonial and used them for the basics and made my own modifications. I built my shed for storage and lawn equipment, but decided to sheath and side it in case I ever wanted to add insulation and turn it into a shop or bunkhouse. I poured over this book all winter while I planned and found it to be the all-around best shed book out there.
My husband is a plumber and he appreciated the clean look of the pipes and the digging of the land. Mahalo ( thanks) for the tour coming to You from Honolulu, Hawaii
Thank you so much for posting this I just purchased me a 10 by 20 lofted cabin to be delivered in 4 weeks and I really had no idea how I was going to design it but now I do thank you so much!!
I would put shower on the opposite side then the toilet where sink is and eliminate the sink. I would make a kitchen with a counter and sink with the space allowed.
Thought I would add solar don’t do what I did bought 1 100 wh then a different 100 wh then 2 more all 100 wh not smart but workable inverter modified sine wave wrong again but now learning got a 1000 wh solar generator ok better now when I buy I read watch and listen and I sit down and think it out bought agm battery 100 wh it ok buying lifium 4 and building a 24 volt ok this is thinking now looking at a 3000 wh pure sine wave so far I have spent about $300 wrong spending have $400 in solar panels wire about $200 about $200 on charger inverter will be around $300 $100 for small things fuse nuts bolts and have 2 100 wt battery’s that’s $700 so a little over $2000 but that will run lights fans charging all my 12 volt things and my 32 inch tv it’s a lot but if you spread it over time not so bad $6000 for building around $4000 to finish it out so I think 12k for a home not to bad and yes all the work after the shell I am doing myself
Have a 10 by 16 have just started on making it in to my home have most of my solar thank you lord getting insulation this week it’s slow going I am 68 and am trying to do it by myself one step at a time
How did you get the drain piping from your water underneath the cabin? Did you have to lift it at all? I have a shed I’m converting but there is only a couple inches of clearance from the floor to the ground.
Hey I was subed to the comfort station I was wondering if you were the same guy you said you had other channels I wanted to subscribe to them I seen they just banned your channel if you are lol
I have this same shed but it's 12x32 26 feet inside and a 6 ft porch on the front i have no idea how i should do the floor plan can u give me some better ideas on how to do the bathroom and kitchen an bedroom an living room
Ryan’s Shed Plans provides me correct plans for garages and outbuildings too. You can learn to build many things like large Garage, Elevated Sawdust Bin, Lawn Tool Storage Cabinet, Garden Windmill, etc {Check Details Here=> allo.pk/shed }. Despite being a newbie it’s such a package that enables me becoming to work just like an expert woodworker and complete projects in far less time than I used to.
I won't be able to pull it off in the next couple years but I swear to myself and have for years now that one day , one day I will build my vision of to me what would be my perfect two story shed house, hoping when it happens to have the funds to by a size of roughly 14-16' wide by 28-34' long and have a 4 sided barn style full height second story which I'm pretty sure I could fit a humble bedroom with a decent size walk In closet and queen size bed and still have the room prob to build a very small office/library that also had like a fold down comfortable cot style wall mounted guest bed, and as many windows and storage areas as possible because what I would imagine the hardest part of living in a shed house would likely be insufficient storage for belongings , clothes , and random stuff
Seems good so far! Was easy to talk to about his My Shed Plans [Go Here=> *WoodBlueprints. Com* ]. Guided me in the right direction & helped me understand everything & in the end it was what I wanted
could u please if its not too much trouble tell us a little about how much the bathroom set up cost as far as water heater and if u connected to electric and water on grid and did u do most of the work urself....i would have done a few things different but what u did was perfect i would want to add a loft and found a place in wv where im from where i can get a 10x20 loft type cabin for like 4000k but i need to connect electric and water and buy a few fixtures plus insulation dry wall etc...this is the time i wish i was so much more handy to save 1000;s on the finishes...also i saw the solar but could u tell me what breaker box amp/watt would suffice for the basics 4 wall sockets microwave, tv, mini refrig laptop etc basic things like that couple of light fixtures (3)? thank you any info will help
Really didn’t break down what each area cost. But I’d guess 1000 on bathroom. Water heater electric just enough to take about 5 minute shower. The solar has been upgraded but does not operate entire unit. Just lights and chargers. I sleep in adjacent RV so bedroom wasn’t necessary for my use.
That design is considered a cabin to tiny house But I must say an awesome built 👍
Thank you, good luck with your project!
So nice
I would like to see inside

I bought the cabin shell, I only did the inside, so i really can’t answer that question but there are many videos out there that will show that.
Unfortunately, I'm thinking this is the future, although governments try to prohibit this.
Excellent build. Love it. 😊
What size and brand of solar panel did you use?
Thats cool , i finished out a dersken cabin 16 x 30 for about $30,000 Its definitely a lot better than renting a apartment
What is the best material for building a shed?
Maybe I’ll just give up and live in one of these on a friends property until I pass away
I’m getting this shed for temporary while working on my trailer . In mine there are two lofts for sleeping .
What kind of toilet? Did you go with
Sorry meant what size is the bathroom?
Can you tell Me how big it is ?
My husband is a plumber and he appreciated the clean look of the pipes and the digging of the land. Mahalo ( thanks) for the tour coming to You from Honolulu, Hawaii
Thank you for saying 😁
Had everything but a bed!!!! Wonder where ol boy gonna sleep??!!!

Fecal matter. Just saying. You have a toilet within distance of a "kitchen". Disgusting
I have no idea why someone would give this a thumbs down.
Some (unhappy) folk just have to be the bringer of negativity.
How much is total with the land?
Already owned land but cabin shell, doing the inside, running water line around 6000
did I miss the bed?

I like this tiny house so much?🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
I was able to live 24/7 in it for 5 years out of necessity. It is doable.
where is the bed?
Right now it’s a recliner

Awesome to have real plumbing …but my definition of everything, includes a bed and more of a kitchen. 🤷🏿
that's nice. i just got mine delivered can't wait to start hooking it up.

Good for you! It takes getting used to but the benefits for me was worth it.
This is what we all are going to live in time Brandon gets finished with us... 👀
Poor baby.

All the water lines are running along the inside wall and the sink and shower drain into a 2 inch pipe through the floor and out.no toilet.
That's Very Much What I Want. You've given me some great pointers and ideas. Thank you
just build a 20x20 garage...so much free space to work with...
Cant do that type of toilet
Dude, this is soooo cool! How much did this cost?
Hey I was subed to the comfort station I was wondering if you were the same guy you said you had other channels I wanted to subscribe to them I seen they just banned your channel if you are lol
10x20 smaller than my bedroom I'm 24x17
Great job man. Well done.
What's the info on the solar panel? Does it power the whole building and what solar panel is it
The solar has been redone. One 100watt panel 2 deep cycle batteries. No does not operate entire unit.. yet

What about the sleeping area no bed ? Or loft ?? Love every thing! I'm just wondering 😄

Start to finish 6 grand but nothing's too code or legal you can't use that type of piping in a home
OFF GRID has no rules,,
