For my workouts, I typically recommend using dumbbells that feel challenging but allow you to maintain proper form. For most exercises, I suggest starting with: 2-5 kg (4-11 lbs) dumbbells for beginners. 5-8 kg (11-18 lbs) for intermediate level. It’s important to pick a weight that pushes you but still allows you to complete all your reps safely. You can always adjust the weight as you get stronger.
