The stallions don’t live cover, that’s my preference as their owner, so they don’t live with the mares. They will have nice pastures to go to to get outside as soon as we can get it built.

I have seen a stud in a large pasture with mares and geldings that was just as manageable as most horses when ridden and quite good around horses. I know exercise is key, but some studs are more quiet than others. I have never owned one, because they are able to cause trouble and need clear leadership and enough strength to use if necessaryn.

@joycemorrell1293 thank you for watching 😀 and yes, there are quite a few stallions that do wonderfully in a pasture environment! Arabians definitely do. I know many that live in that arrangement. Unfortunately currently the farm doesn’t allow for that. And yes, I agree that owning a Stallion can be completely different from owning bars or geldings! I never dreamed I would, but here I am! You really are so kind! Thank you so much. No they aren’t Egyptian. I’m not a pedigree guru so I can’t really tell you what they are, meaning Polish, Spanish, Russian etc… Most of them do have some Egyptian in their lineage though. The new trend of super dishy will pass I feel. I am all about breeding quality horses that have form to function. All my horses are broke to ride.

@@itsoursmallfarmlife I don't know a whole lot about the different types, my Arabian was Egyptian and I thought yours looked like they could be. I am not fond of a very deep dish I think it takes a lot away from the look of the horse and makes it look almost satirical.... is that the word I want to use? Anyway I do love all of the horses that you have and I admit I am biased when it comes to Arabs and it's great that you are able to ride all of yours.

Thanks for watching and thanks for your question. The mares and geldings will live in pastures yes. the stallions are in stalls mostly and outside in small individual pastures. This is just at the early stage of them moving to their new home so we need to do a lot of work to get them better accommodations.

@@itsoursmallfarmlife So they're both pretty young that's great! I've been running around like crazy but when I can I will sit back i will try to find the videos with the mares. I love Arabians and after having Hallmark I can't imagine ever having anything else but, unfortunately, I won't ever have another horse.

They have such an amazing spirit and are so kinds and gentle most times, but when the urge strikes they love to show off! Honestly they truly are a wonderful horse for even those with less experience due to the minds and their way of connecting with their owners! Arabian geldings have an insane knack for that for sure, but of course I’m biased🤷‍♀️🤣. Ha ha, if anyone tells you they haven’t fallen off a horse, then they haven’t ridden enough! I hear ya! Been there, done that! When I breed Crescendo next year I’ll take along the camera and share it with my audience and then of course share his babies as they grow up. The video I put out right after this one, labeled “the stallions meet. How did it go” actually has his dad in it. They love next to each other in the barn! Thank you again. I think addiction is more accurate than professional when it comes to breeding. As a breeder, speaking for myself, I’m always striving to improve the breed, and honestly every breeder has a different ideal of what that improvement is. Being Lebanese, I guess my profound love for the Arabian is genetic. But any horse lover will tell you.. you either love horses or you don't. It's that beautiful horse spirit you love, and all breed's have that. I don't want to waste any more of your time. I officially retired this year and can dedicate all my time painting these beautiful animals, oils on canvas, super realism I guess. Thank you for your kind reply and take good care now.❤️
