Lego Machine Lifts 40 Pounds
Просмотров 4692 месяца назад
I created a machine with plastic bricks that can lift 40 pounds.
I’ve been trying to make one of these since I was 4 years old.
@@Cool-trucks-and-car-washes it is amazing the things you can do with plastic bricks.
You had the best imagination
Woah
thanks
I will ask my mom to get this!
Yes! it is a great gift
😂
Pô, coloca os créditos ao criador original ao menos né...
Eu sou o criador original 😉
@@fmscientia hmm, ok então...
so, tha was the way they used to lift their bridges?
@@IsaacMorales-g1t similar way
Netflix: "Are you still watching" Someone's daughter:
Attach a paper circle instead of a fan blade, itll cut alot better
Thanks for the tip, I will try that soon
Expand it to de point you cand expand mor or it would brake
I will try that soon
You literally put a fan blade on it then explained how a fan blade works 😅
Thats a great point 😆
when learning physics, i remember thinking it would theoretically be possible to move a car using one of those little DC motors you find in toys. i'm not sure i ever learned that it couldn't be done 🤔 really cool project!
Theoretically, it could be done if there were no friction or limitations in material strength. However, the axles eventually become too weak to rotate, which is why I had to use multiple axles. I'm still experimenting and exploring better methods and more efficient configurations-there might even be a way to achieve it using these plastic bricks.
More than seven its almost impossible, even Myth Busters have and entire episode on that
That’s a great point!!
12 is the max any sheet of paper can be folded.
@@KipdoesStuff that is very interesting!
keep up the good work
@@auroramarino8425 Thank you!
Moreeeee, pls.
soon we will create the strongest lego machines in the world!!!
@@fmscientiaalr
As a Lego fan myself, that’s amazing dude. Keep it up brother 👍
@@alexandercarbajo4989 Thanks! it means a lot
The reason you can't grind everything and it is because you did it wrong. Those gears should not be lined up.They should be alternating one in between the other and overlapping just by the length of the tooth
That is a great point! I will try to do that in the future
Holy shit. That’s impressive af. I remember trying to making contraptions with those as a kid and also gave up cos they weren’t powerful enough. Wish I had seen this back then 😅
Now that I have some extra free time and can purchase my own bricks, I can finally explore the possibilities of plastic bricks engineering.
And the lego didnt break?
No
So it did break?@@fmscientia
@@dasbesseretost9738 It did not break

Soon!
I have the 3 generation model it runs very well
@@Tartabirdgames_official Its a nice product!
Kile Crane?
Yes!
He used the Lego to destroy the Lego

Damn, I can do that with one hand. Jk cool video

yes!! I will add the amazon items soon
Whoa, that's actually pretty fascinating
Thank you!
How to define Mach speed in Legos
Great Question! I’ll try to a video about that
Каких фирм изготовитель моторов которые их делают
There are some third parties in AMAZON
У тебя оригинальные. Моторы ?
They are third party motors

Sounds like melting lego 😂

thanks I really wanted to know how gear ratios worked. this really helped
@@arnavmittal8829 Thank you!
wouldnt a flywheel be helpful in increasing the speed?
@@nekrugderzweite8298 thats a great question, I will test that soon
I like how you compared the speed to other things like a car or a jet engine
@@evanwhite2845 Thanks
cool vid
@@Sp0kzy thanks! it means a lot
If a 3rd party motor is added to the system, how much further could you take this?
@@JamesTDG That's a great question. As we add more gears, the lever becomes harder to move, and the small LEGO motors likely won't be able to handle it. However, I can use my powerful drill to test the system's limits. While the system may break, it is worth exploring
@@fmscientia its not a question of 'it may breake' .. its guaranteed to fail... ..as u metion a very well balanced system as a car engine will not handle 7500+ rpm well for long periods... ...but its a greate way of learning... keep experimenting... just remeber sefety of urself and others.. a tip: use bearings with small radius and small balls that r rated for high speeds (SKF Sweden does excellent bearings)... just remeber at high speed an exploading bearing has a kinetik energy thats is very very large... be safe...
@@Patrik6920 Thank you! I will follow your advice.
@@fmscientia ..composite material or ceramic bearings ar well suited for high speed 40000 rpm+ as thay have a very low weight but still hard or harder than steel .. but yes thay cost... Silicon Nitride ...
@@Patrik6920 I will try to get access to those materials
nice, now make it run doom
Cool
