This Furniture is too low. People in my home have problems with their knees and so I need furniture that is high enough for them to rise from it comfortably. This furniture would not work for us. I'm sorry but the furniture that people are designing today is pretty bland and boring. It doesn't matter if you go into CB2 or West Elm of Room and Board, or Joybird or Floyd or IKEA.....when you walk into anyone of these stores, you've seen all of these stores. I love to watch old movies from the 30s and 40s and the furniture I see in those movies are beautiful. The designers of that era has the designers of today beat. The furniture in those eras is romantic with beautiful textures, curves and patterns, cushy and comfortable looking. The stuff today is low, straight lines and just...basic and boring.
