Homelite was a very good saw, arguably the longest lasting saw ever made, I mean they just won't die, iv seen get straight gassed before and break lose the piston and put a good mix in and as badly scored as I is crazy thing will still fire up and run man, I like many different saws especially the old ones, but I think Homelite is my personal favorite, that was my first, so many people neglect these so badly, you take care of them they will run for decades

Is it gear driven

I now have a extra rebuilt 10 10 engine complete!!!! Since i took that 10 10s engine and put it in my manual oiling 1010

They should have made a limited run but it probably wouldn't have been too good

I have this saw and it’s pretty strong but any time I put it on its side to fell a tree or put it in the air to cut a branch it floods. I’m not sure if all of these do that or if I’m having problems but rn it’s a pretty good bucking saw

Homesite 2 stroke engines are beasts!

I'm going to pick one of these up n a couple days...he wants 60 but that was the price when there was a almost complete running.parts saw ..I'll get him to 50...I'd say it's worth it.....I believe the crank on my 150 isnt true and its gna replace that on my use shelf
