Wow😍
Hi where can i order this and how long does the shipment takes?
Yeah, go to Avians.cc and order. But first ask if they have in stock the size you want. For me (to Europe) it took around two weeks.
They become more quiete later on!
I believe it's the opposite - there's fresh grease from the factory which makes it quiet. And over time grease goes away and ratchet became louder. And if it's too loud at first then the manufacturer recommends adding more grease and it will make it quiet. The same applies to paws - the less grease (or lighter grease) the quieter the hub.
@ that’s the idea usually but I’ve done almost 3K with these beauties and it is what it is - the sound has become more refined and quiet!
@@andriivaskovets5438 did you notice that the sound is more steady and even? I like it more compared to other ratchets. I believe it's due to that spring.
@@dusty_hoods for me Cadex hubs and Max40 hub in particular are pieces of engineering art! With 40 Max you get instant engagement and superb efficiency and that’s very obvious when in attack mode especially when uphill!
Can you get the Garda frameset? I can't find it anywhere.
Did you try to find a local dealer or write to Wilier?
nice tips!
hi what is the steerer size 28.6 mm?
Yeap, "standard" steerer
as usual 🔥
Thanks 🙌
Hey thanks for sharing. May I know the steerer stack of the bar? Any thoughts of it so far by the way. Thanks in advance.
So, in terms of stack it goes this way: 1. 30 mm handlebar stack (that's without top cap - just a space it takes on steerer tube). 2. 5 mm cable adapter that goes right under the bars and creates a smooth transition to spacers even if I'm not using internal routing it looks better with it (important - this peace can be ordered to match your proprietary spacers). 3. 10 mm headset cap that covers top headset bearing.
@@dusty_hoods I see. Cool. Thx for the information! Ride safe there mate.
Update?
Getting ready for the next video. I did upgrade A LOT of things. And since I did it step by step throughout this year I've got some interesting experiences to share. Coming somewhere in December/January I guess.
@@dusty_hoods I just ordered a Revolt 1 and wanted to know if converting to 1X was possible. Very cool video! Informative! I will grab a pair of 45mm G One RS tyres and a carbon seat post to start.
Good choice. 1x is possible with any 1x crankset (like grx600/812 or whatever you can reach out to). 42T is ok to start with, maybe you will need a bigger cassette. Installing single chainring on 2x crankset is also fine if you got one, but not ideal so if you are buying new then better get a proper 1x. Remove the front derailleur cable/housing and use left lever as brake only.
columbus integrated cockpit is a dream build, grats
Did tubeless valves come in the box?
Yeap. Here they are - 3:30 And rims are taped and tires are tubeless ready so I guess you can leave the bike shop with the tubless installed if you want to.
@@dusty_hoods oh I see them now! Cool!
Ere Research are hugely underrated… they are innovative in the space of gravel. Those wheels are next level. Do a review on them please.
Yeap. Found them this year at a local bike shop. They make cool products. Wheels are pretty compatible - I consider 1500 USD / 1500 g with similar specs is the most reasonable and effective upgrade at the moment. I can review only something I actually used and I'm not gonna ride this bike so far. But took the saddle to my Giant Revolt build - love the specs and design 😍
What happened to the sound but that frameset color. No thanks.
The color is crazy! It's very saturated in real life and I can't even take a photo with a smartphone - I got a pink flat bright spot in my photo 😂 It's definitely not for everyone.
Nice video, but I couldn't hear anything.
Thanks, sad to hear that.

Nice work!
looks that kill 🔥
Sucks you have to replace the 105 components on a gravel bike that they didn't put GRX components on
Yeah. But this bike was already in production when GRX was presented in 2019.
is good 😊
Oh that color!!! Looks amazing.
🚴🏽♂️🌽
absolutely raaad!
very nice!
A beautiful bike that will hopefully still look as good in ten years as my ten year old Specialized Venge looks today.
A R T !
Majestic 👑👑
Love the frame shape, the colour not so much, hate the one-piece bar-stem and the prorietary seat post. Apppreciate not slamming the stem. "Pale tan wall" tires ruin every bike's look and the oversized yellow derailleur pulleys are nothing but childish. And Cadex is a sub brand of Giant, same as Bontrager is to Trek and Syncros to Scott, so why put them on a Wilier when there are so many other cool choices?
Great video! How did you decide on your size? What is your head circumference? Mine is 59,5cm and I’m a bit unsure which size to get. Any help would be appreciated!
I'm 59 and L is my choice. I've tried all Giro helmets and only Helios in size M fit comfortably but since my head is too big for it I will not be able to use a cap or hat when it's cold. So L is my size (and not only in the Giro lineup but from all other brands too). And the problem here is that they look a bit "mushroom head" because 59 is the smallest head for L )) So the deal breaker for me was design and I chose Aries because it is the only one in size L that looks OK. Btw Met helmets have different size charts - it's shifted a little bit. The design is not to my taste but it is worth checking if you have it in stores around you.
@@dusty_hoodsThank you very much for your quick answer. It truly helped me a lot. Have a good one!
I heard a couple cases of the seat tube tracking at the top.
Yep, I guess it was on some 2022 carbon frames when they introduced interface where you can use both round and D shaped seatpost. I'm not a fan of that idea so I get myself, a 2021 frame ;)
Got one in black. It's sleeker than my prevail 3 and didn't fall to pieces during the first ride like my 3 kask protone icons. Kask ruined the protone 💀
Thank you I’ve watched many many videos regarding unbound as an American cyclist and seldom has there been one as complete in all facets of the experience. It would be nice to learn a little bit about your background that led you to find this race and what your experience was like amidst the racing community here, as well as just the American folks you encountered. But still may be more critically your connection to Ukraine Thanks again
Impressive results, Viktor. And plenty of common sense ideas and advice. Cheers

Sram: groupset, Cadex (a Giant subsidiary): wheelset.
Just bought this Bike! Hoping the Seatpost wont cause me problems since I've read so much negative information about it.
Congrats 🎉 Carbon or alu? What year model? Seatpost is a known issue and has a fix - add a grip paste and don't overtighten it. There's a 6Nm mark on a clamp but I tighten to 5Nm with grip paste and have no problems (my weight is 78 kg).
@@dusty_hoods Since i had limited Budget i bought the Revolt 0 Alu 2022. I also read that you can fix the problem by adding some teflontape.
That's great! I would recommend trying carbon assembly paste - that's what worked for me and all noises were gone immediately. No other issues. Have a nice ride!
I have a revolt 0 from 2023 and also have to deal with the creaking seatpost. Lubing it up didn’t work for me. It just fixes it temporarily for like 2 rides and then it comes back. I heard that switching the seatpost to a normal 30.9 mm should resolve the creaking. Might be worth a shot!
Just use carbon assembly paste - it works just fine. A simple lubricant like oil based won't work.
Why Cadex wheels?
Some decisions were made based on price and availability since it's a build for a real client. Cadex are the best wheels you can get here in Ukraine. With warranty, service and spare parts from a local dealer 🤝
My next winter bike!
good bike, good job, good video!!!
😻 'promo sm'
can you share the overall price of this exact build and custom paint job ?
There's nothing custom made/painted/modified in this build. Everything from the stores and frameset is on the Wilier catalog and can be ordered from your local dealer.
Maybe i got lucky here to get the answer i am looking. I am a mountainbike rider since many many years and i enjoyed the last 2 seasons. but i see more and more people with gravel bikes, so it got my interest. I am reading and googling for over 6 month now and i cant decide which giant revolt i am going to buy. I am most driving on asphalt roads and i am more into making kilometers. After all i cant believe i made a trip of 247 km on one day back in 2022 with my mountainbike at nearly 38° Celcius that day. But since i reached my 50th i want to have something more comfortable where i still can make my kilometers but with a gravel bike. What kind of revolt would you guys recommend to me? I thought i should start with the revolt 0 but you read so many revies and test and at the end of the day you are more and more confused. I just dont want to spend thousands of euros to find out this isnt the bike for me. But i want to buy one without testing it, because it will confuse me more. So i am looking between 1500-2000 euro. What do you guys recommend to me? it should be a giant revolt. thank you
Go for Revolt 0, it's such a versatile and durable bike. And did you ever try to ride a gravel bike or road bike? They are much different from MTB in terms of geometry and steering, you should ride (any bike of your size just to get the idea).
@@dusty_hoods Thanks for the info. Nope, i never tried a gravel bike. But i can tell you that i used MTB for years now and never used it to jump, ride through mud, dirt up- or downhill. 99% of the time i used it to just made my kilometers and enjoying the ride. It started slowly for me, when i did trips around the 40-50 kilometer mark and i started more and more to make them longer. But sometimes it was hard i'll be honest and i found myself more and more looking for upgrades to make the biker lighter, faster and so on. I then started to take a look to gravel bikes. I know myself and at this point i have to buy myself a gravel without trying it. Otherwise i will always compare this to that and this to that. I am that kind of buy :-/ I need to spend the money to start with it 😂 I really like the white version in your video. Do you think i need to buy the actual 2024 model or is it ok to get the white version? The look is important for me too tbh and i will just enjoy my rides and i have no intension to be a super biker. first of all i will enjoy and feel myself comfortable on my trips. thank you
@@Lomaxxx you can get a previous years model with discount. If it will be 11 speed grx it's even better in my opinion since with 11 speed components you get a choice of a wide range of cassettes and chains with the same performance, durability but lower prices compared to 12 speed.
@@dusty_hoods thanks for all the infos. i actually felt in love with the white model. How much money did you spent on all the upgrades round about?
@Lomaxxx I guess somewhere around 400-500USD for parts. I bought a second hand rear derailleur (GRX 812 to replace 105) and carbon seatpost; Garbaruk single chainring, chinese carbon dropbars (OG-EVKIN is fine) and new Giant Approach saddle. That's what you see in this video.
Awesome
Is this the revolt advanced 3 - terracotta?
Yes, exactly.
Between this and the Revolt 0, which one would you prefer? The main difference between the two seems to be the carbon frame? The components on the Revolt 0 seem to be a level or two higher…
First of all prices are very different and there are second hand or past years models. Sometimes you can get Advanced 3 2021/2022 for the same price as latest Revolt 0 2024. Considering that upgrading groupset is cheaper than frameset I would go for Advanced 3. If you want the latest 2024 only (obviously you have a wider choice of sizes and color) then Revolt 0 looks more attractive - solid and durable frameset with top level groupset (better shifting and better cassettes and chains options available, even 1x setup will work fine).
In both cases alu or carbon I highly recommend upgrading the seatpost to carbon D-Fuse, any carbon dropbars and wider tires. This will make a much bigger difference to your riding comfort. Even bigger than switching frameset alu to carbon.
@@dusty_hoods this is great thanks - it is exactly the situation I’ve got right now. The revolt 0 is €1800 while the advanced 3 2022/23 is €1600. I’m wondering in if the advanced 3 is a better bike overall that I can keep adding upgrades to in the future- but get started with as a total beginner…
How does this bike compare to the Giant 0? Which one would you recommend for a beginner?
The most gains in comfort you get from contact points of you and your bike - seat/seatpost, handlebars, pedals/shoes, and tires (super important). And these parts are basic level on all models in stock (except top spec). As a first bike I highly recommend aluminum version with 2*11 groupset. Plus upgrading D-Fuse seatpost to carbon version (you will be amazed by how flexible is carbon D-Fuse vs alu), and any carbon dropbars you like, and wider tires (40mm to 50mm, start with 43-45 to try). As a result, for around the same price, you'll get much more comfortable and durable bike than Advanced model with basic stock components. The only difference will be the weight of frameset but it's 300-400 grams different.
Great video ! Is this a similar spec as the 2023/2024 Revolt 0 model? Is it comfortable ride? I’m trying to avoid a very racing like position
Yes, the specs for 2023/24 are similar it's 2*11 speed. The frames are more advanced now - with flip chip, lower bb and more mounting points on the frame. The position is adjustable anyways and it's not that racing like compared to CX bikes or road bikes. Giant Revolts are more comfortable just because of the geometry of gravel bikes in general.
Thanks for posting this - really nice and useful video. I also run 1x and love what you did with the cable routing - had never thought of doing that!

Tubeless without milk 😮 ?
Sure, any tire fits just fine without sealant. It's even easier to add it later through the valve using a syringe. You need sealant for: 1) to seal small leakage of air and; 2) to seal punctures.
Bro needs a new pump. less noice.
Ha ha ) yeap, but that pump has a story ...аnd it begs for some maintenance 😂
