I just got one a month ago but it misses steps even when doing a test on "air" (no material)...
Nema 17 + probably unaligned Y axis. Check your cnc geometry.

Hello, Great video tutorial Have you connected the 4-axis GRBL controller from ANNOY TOOLS to the TTC450? If so can you upload the firmware?
Yep, I have bought another mainboard to use all axes simultaneously without disconnecting any other axis and I use DM556S drivers for all stepper motors no firmware is needed, I dont use original display anymore. Wow, your channel is really good, please keep it up. I don't know anything about CNC, I'm looking to buy a TTS450 to learn and I found your videos amazing, what upgrades did you do to the TTS450? Is the speed still 800mm/min? Thanks. Hugs from Brazil
Thank you so much! The maximum speed of my TTC 450 is 3000 mm/min. Typically I use 800-1200 mm/min for wood, and 80-300 mm/min for dural/brass. I have replaced all the stepper motors with Nema 23 motors.

Сейчас стоят все Nema 23 (23HS5628). До этого были Nema 17, и на Z стоял Nema 23
@@vAzhureThings Насколько у них больше скорость подачи? Есть ли смысл устанавливать более мощные моторы? How much faster is their feed speed? Does it make sense to install more powerful motors?
@@RICK-xv4yz more torque, much faster. From original 800 mm/min to 2000-3000 mm/min possible. Mostly for G0 movements (less time).
Looks awesome!! Is there any other software to run the ttc 450?
I use gSender and OpenBuilds. gSender lets me control my device using a joystick in jog mode. With OpenBuilds, I can use a fourth axis.

Hi, nice work :D What software do you use? And how do you make it engrave from the center and out? 🙂
I use Vectric Aspire. Equidistant strategy from center by default. 3D model of owl from Printables. Another idea is to carve an oval shape and then fill the center with white epoxy resin. After that, you can create the relief. This way, the owl will be more visible on the wood.
