@@dennisschultz1175 According to the data on the CN-20, auto band switching will be disabled. So like myself we’ll have to switch bands manually. I’m sure somebody will come up with an adapter that will be full functioning in the near future. Seems the CN-20 is nowhere to be found in the States. Even MFJ doesn’t seem to carry this item. Had to order one from Sinotel UK Ltd, and cost around 54 dollars total... I’m going to contact MFJ, and Radioditty, from where I purchased the amp. There might be a much simpler and cheaper way to go!

@@robertmitchum2972 Yes. the simple way would be just to use the PTT and ground on the amp to the 817/818. However, there is some logic and a feedback loop on the CN-20 which lowers the input power from the 817/818 for the best output of the amp. You would lose that if you did not have the CN-20. I am working on a solution to adjust the voltages from the 817/818 to match the band switch inputs on the amp. I am not sure why Xiegu did not address this. MFJ does not import this and does not support it. That means you are on your own in the US. I have 3 emails out to XIegu on this with no response.

OK. The main issue is the T/R switching in semi BK. It is too slow for normal CW operation...:(
