In this video I went to Jarabacoa an amazing town in the mountains of the Dominican Republic. The river in this video is the Yaque Del Norte the spot i was filming from is located in la Confluencia park. Salto de Baiguate is the waterfall if your traveling there with google maps make sure you input the parking lot as the destination or it will take you to the wrong spot.

I started walking in plaza paseo which is basically the center of Las Terrenas a city on the north coast of the Domnican Republic all the way down to the best spot on the beach of Playa Punta Popy.
I spent the 90s going to Cabarete,it's grown alot,but I still recognize Janet's super and the farmacia Rafael,lots of traffic still,beautiful beach...

Cabarete would be a good choice plus its right next to sosua which is also nice.
You will not regret it, Cabarete is a true paradise....
Unfortunately an absolutely boring and far too long video. You will be annoyed by loud traffic for over 12 minutes. There isn't much to see of the beautiful Cabarete. Many shops are closed or have no customers. You also see very few tourists on the beach.
