Free child care free transport free school lunches free medical free day care and now government are going into the supermarket business. You do realise we pay extra for this so called free stuff. We shouldn’t be supporting this. Reliance on government always ends in absolute pain and poverty

It’s about what’s happening and about to happen with social spending that you obviously don’t get and what History tells you. I don’t think you understand what’s happening with your government and what kind of country gives out so many rebates. Rebates is a nicer word for something else that has destroyed every country implementing it. Venezuela is the perfect example in every way bcse it was a spitting image of Australia back in the 1970s. Honestly I can't speak for Australia's situation because this is not my country...but I think free infrastractures like this one are pretty nice to have. And I think there are many other problems that should be adressed first. Or that at least applies to my country where tons of euros are wasted on armaments or just because of corruption. Also I believe free healthcare and free education are a must in a civilized society. Or you might end up as U.S where people can't afford to to become ill
